With March coming to an end, how do you think the porn industry has fared thus far this year? Here's some topics to get things started: -Any specific release that has piqued your interest? -Any new chick that has caught you attention? -Any thougths on how the various studios (Web- and/or DVD oriented) have performed so far? -Just to turn the tables a little, is there anything that you find has been conspicuously absent in the biz these three months? Anything porn related you find worthy of discussion that pertains to the first three months of this year goes here. I know this thread might seem relatively vaguely delineated, but that's sort of the point, since I'm interested in what people have to say in general about recent events in the industry, no matter how wide ranging or specific a topic might be brought up.
^ I'd say that a hot woman getting her nice ass nailed really well is what attracts the most attention among porn-fans nowadays. Because you never see the front-cover of a film screaming at you that the hot lady is doing her 1st pussy-sex-scene with a guy. But when it's the hot lady's 1st anal scene, then her anal nailing is advertised all over the front-cover and in big letters too. Many porn-fans want to see a big stud nail the hot lady's nice ass, and porn-marketers know it too. Pussy-sex is almost like soft-core porn nowadays. The hot lady hasn't really done it with a guy, until she gets someone like Mike Adriano to nail her nice ass. And speaking of Mike Adriano, I'd say that he is the guy to watch in anal-porn. Because he is doing more than anybody else to nail the asses of hot lasses. His recently released film Enter Her Exit is something to see. Because Kelsi Monroe is one of the hottest ladies there, and Mike Adriano can't contain himself inside her nice ass. He has multiple cumshots with Kelsi Monroe and ends up really nailing her. It's like when the guy is working on his 2nd or 3rd cum with the hot lady, then he isn't afraid anymore of cumming prematurely with her. He throws all caution to the wind and just nails her nice ass, again and again, like a one-man anal train. I used to criticize Mike Adriano's anal films. Because his style of nailing the asses hot lasses is different from that of most other guys in porn. But now I realize that I was misunderstanding him. There are two different kinds of anal-fantasy a guy can have for a hot lady. One fantasy is when the guy goes anal on the hot lady like a sex-hungry man for his own satisfaction, balls-deep, hard-and-fast, for as long as he can last. And the second type of fantasy is when the guy isn't there to please himself. He is there to train the hot lady's ass and make a whore out of her, so that she will be good for the nailing again and again in the future. And it's this second type of anal fantasy that Mike Adriano plays out in his films. And of course, it's not just a fantasy. Mike Adriano really is training the asses of some pretty hot lasses. Many of his new ladies go on to become popular anal porn-stars.
My biggest gripe is the lack of starlets with the mega personalities. It used to be that every year a girl like Gianna or Sasha Grey would appear and dominate, and you'd look forward to all their releases. And now you've got those girls like Krissy Lynn and Sarah Shevon that are great but hardly make any scenes anymore, and nobody is stepping up to fill the void. That's not to discredit the talent out there now, it just doesn't seem quite the same. It also seems more and more common for these petite young girls with almost no personality to pop up, appear in a dozen releases or so (if even), then disappear off the face of the planet. I'm finding it harder and harder to get into the newer stuff that is being released... The girls are really hot and fresh, but the action just seems played out. It could just be that I work in porn and am constantly bombarded by it. Maybe I'm desensitized. I don't know... but it's a bummer because I really love jerking off to people fucking! - Jimmy Hooligan It's back... DIRT PIPE DIVAS
Thank you for noting me, Dirtyhabit, I appreciate it! ...I just want to say that this gripe has nothing to do with the talent pool, it really steams more from the producers and lack of production. Talent doesn't do/shoot whatever they want when they want, we are actors and we wait for the producers to book us for their projects, and porn production has been on a decline since before I've been in the industry. I've been in for 6 years now. It took awhile for me to be booked for the kinds of scenes where I could be more of myself and take control. I still struggle with people type casting me because they think I look young and innocent, this continues to hold me back at times as it is limiting. Just using myself as an example... My point is that there isn't that much porn production, period; therefore, it is harder for talent to get noticed, and how they are perceived depends on what kinds of roles/scenes they are booked for and who is booking them, not by their choice. And btw, it's not that I'm hardly making scenes anymore, I've never taken time off, my shoot schedule fluctuates just like everybody else's. I was shooting 3 days in a row last week and had to take the last 3 days off because I was so exhausted, but you know, I don't really tweet from set. It's just not very safe/smart to tweet from set these days, but still the performers that do tweet about their shoots all the time put people under the impression that they are shooting more... Not contradicting the lack of production, my focus is just different, every time I see anybody in the industry they're always asking how often I've been shooting, like as if we're all seizing one another up to feel more content with ourselves and our schedules, I myself am more concerned about trying to put myself to work via webcam everyday than when someone else decides to book me.
You're welcome, thanks for the reply :) That does make sense, Alia Janine said the same thing about the producers/directors in regards a similar statement that I made. (Sucks that she's retired, she was great too.) Btw, I loved your scene with Mike Adriano in the recent DVD that came out (I forget the name). You're dirty talk was so hot and I think it's one of the things that set you apart from other pornstars, please keep it up the next time Mike shoots with you. I'd say that your difficulty with getting into the newer porn is probably a common experience for many porn fans. Because the way guys and women relate to each other on porn sets has changed drastically over the years. And now it doesn't corresponds well at all with the way many male porn-fans feel about hot women and sex. People feel an emotional connection with anything that reflects their feelings. Which means that the guy on the porn-set needs to behave the way a porn-fan would behave with a really hot woman. Or else porn-fans can't relate to him and his sex with the lady. Male lust is what I'm talking about here. Male porn-fans normally feel a lot of pure sex-lust, when they see a hot woman in a porn scene. But the way the guy on the porn-set behaves with the hot lady often doesn't show much sex-lust at all. Instead of going after the hot girl like he is out of control, the guy stands back and waits for her to bend over or to tell him to lie back passively so that she can have a long and slow cowgirl ride with him. It's more about the hot woman showing off and enjoying herself, rather than the guy going out of control on the hot girl and satisfying his lust hard-and-fast. The guy's behavior on the porn-set is so out of whack with the way many porn-fans feel that many porn-fans don't feel much of a connection either with him or his sex with the lady.

^ Very well said, Dan. I know, it's becoming more and more difficult to find anything that interests me. I thought it was just me and nearly 40 years of watching porn, but after reading your post I think you really expressed how so many male porn fans feel. Thanks man. I'm the opposite, but maybe it's because I'm a submissive male. I love when the woman takes control, and I don't care much for being the aggressive one (though I do it in my personal life because most woman seem to prefer being the submissive one). Edited by - dirtyhabit on 4/24/2015 5:12:44 AM
From my own experience with women, I would say that most women don't look at their sex with guys in terms of aggression and submission. Women look at it in terms of how much you want them. And of course, they can't read your mind. They at look at your behavior with them. If you are passive and don't initiate much of anything with the woman, then this looks to the woman as a lack of interest, a lack of passion, and a lack of lust. Which is a big turn off for the woman. Aggression and submission are the terms that people think in when there is some conflict and disagreement between people. And it's true that there is some conflict going on between men and women in virtually every society. But I'd say that this is something most people want to get away from and put aside, when they want to enjoy sex with each other. I think most women will disagree with you, when you say that they want to be submissive. They just want you to show some passion, desire, and lust in your behavior with them. Which involves you being active and showing some initiative. What you see as submission from your point of view, many women see as a lack of passion and interest. That's why it doesn't work well with women, when you behave this way. You need to realize that not everything looks the same way to other people as it looks to you. People may look at your behavior and interpret it in an entirely different way, from the way you understand it yourself. Because other people can only see your behavior, without any direct knowledge of your thoughts and feelings. It's a very different point of view, and that's why they don't see it the same way you do.
