Yeah, I know about the Photoshop airbrush tool, but that's not what I'm talking about. As depicted, this app could allow a scan of a 35-plus yo woman to be transformed into a believable-looking high schooler with a couple clicks, using the same same process (in reverse) that allows a 14-yo runaway last seen in '81 to be "aged forward" 20 years. You see the latter on "America's Most Wanted" and the like a lot, but truth to tell, I don't know how easy *that* is to do either. Without going into the legal/moral issues around all this, does anyone know: Was this just Photoshop and Illustrator made easy for TV? Or, does "youth enhancement software" as described really exist? If it does, how widely used is it?

I suspect that, despite the practicality of the application, it was just the fertile imagination of L&O:SVU's writers. ~ GaySatyr |
