I was interested because I always liked her photography on her previous blog. She had a great eye, and I was curious to see her mainstream material. She was one of the ladies who truly could have done fashion modeling. She was tall and thin enough, and had the look one finds in the high end fashion mags. For those who are interested. You can find what you need to find the link on her the IMDB page for Zoe Voss. She has a number of social media pages and a new twitter. In my search I found something of interest that she advised and body doubled for Dree Hemingway in the movie Starlet. From what I read it sounds a fascinating film.
Zoe continues to amaze!! She has made the transition to mainstream entertainment without skipping a beat or apologizing to anyone! Her movie (she's executive director) Cowboys & Engines is out. Here she is with Wolfgang Puck This week, she is in Paris shooting an ad for Axe.
Zoey Voss ranks up there with Annette Haven as two of the most beautiful women in american adult cinema history. I'm sure that some eastern europeans should also be included on the short list - since many of them appeared in american productions. Traci Lords should also be included, I think.
Can someone explain or clarify the rules on this further? I completely in favor of respecting an actor's privacy, but Zoe's real name is shown on legitimate websites like IMDB.com as well as on a string of other legitimate websites. Also, she is still active in the film industry as a model and an executive producer using her real name and face so making the connection between her stage name would not require lurking in the "dark corners" of the internet.
It seems to be a unilateral rule on this board, regardless of the circumstances. For example, when the Belle Knox thing broke, the mods were originally against posting some of her mainstream articles/interviews with her real name, even though she was involved in the releasing of the name. As for Zoe, not only is she using her real name in her non-porn movie and modeling endeavors, the twitter account she's using now is the same one she was using when she was in the industry, she just renamed it. If you go far back enough, you can find that same account tweeting about her porn scenes.
^&^^Maybe a Mod will give you a different reason but my guess is that although some porn people's real names are easily found on the net. No one on this forum should be using them because if a nut job should do something unforgivable and then say that he found out her real name on this forum than this forum is going to be in serious legal trouble. Even if said nut job doesn't do anything bad. The people who work in the industry or used to work created a fake persona to have a private life. No need to use their real name to make it harder for them to have that private life. I'd also like to point out that what we now perceive to be Zoe`s real name may not in fact be that so much as another persona she created.

My 2 cents: it's easier for everyone to understand, and for the admins and mods to enforce, hard and fast rules than rules with conditions and exceptions and leeway. Plus, in the vast majority of the instances I've seen here where guys have posted real names, it was clearly being done out of vindictiveness, creepy/stalkerish behavior, or some other improper motive.
^ Let me recommend an easily-enforced and reasonable rule: If the performer's Wikipedia entry includes his or her birth name in the first sentence or in the side bar with the basic bio, then the name is widely known by the public, and forbidding people to link to articles that mention the person's legal is pointless. Moreover, any websites that make malicious attacks and post pornstar's real names with clearly malicious intent could be blocked, as tubesites are right now. There are other cases more extreme than Zoe's: Tricia Devereaux continues to work in the porn industry and uses her legal name. During various legal disputes involve her husband and the company, she has spoken out in the mainstream media, and has never tried to hide the fact that she used to perform. Surely, discussions in this forum can include links to articles about Evil Angel's legal battles, in which John Stagliano's wife speaks in his defense, right? Belle Knox: Preventing people from linking to articles that mentioned her name was ridiculous. (The first two words of her wikipedia entry are her legal name.) Annie Sprinkle wrote a book called "Post Porn Modernist". The book's blurb, says, "Post Porn Modernist is Annie's scrapbook of her life as a pleasure activist, tracing her evolution from [omitted] to Annie Sprinkle, High Priestess of Porn." So I guess I can't link to Amazon to encourage people to read the book My proposed Wikipedia standard for links doesn't mean that there could be widespread discussion of performer's real names (though in the cases of Tricia Devereaux and Belle Knox, I see no reason not to refer to them by their real names). The current standard could be maintained within the board, but if a person's name is on Wikipedia, then preventing links to third-party sites isn't protecting them from stalkers. Moreover, it would be easier to enforce than the current standard: Mods wouldn't need to check the links if the person's name is already in Wikipedia. If the post is clean, and the link isn't to a malicious site, then it's Kosher: No need to scan the article. Edited by - cumminglinguist on 2/8/2015 1:39:29 AM

I don't see how trying to base this or any rule on whether something is "in Wikipedia" is workable at all. Wikipedia articles can be edited at any time by anyone, and frequently are.
^ ^ ^ ^ I'm with Harri Patel on this one. It might be easy enough to find a performer's legal name, but we should respect them and use their porn performer name on ADT. In the case of Zoe, I seem to recall her fashion model name was her "real name," and she used Zoe Voss as her porn performer name. I see no reason to irritate a performer unnecessarily. The more they participate, the richer this board is. Zoe used to participate early in her career, but took a lot of flak and told us that is why she was leaving. Might have not been the complete reason, but why should we chase away actual industry people if they are generous enough with their time to share their thoughts with us? Sure it can be argued ADT can be used to do self-promotion, but getting insight is something I appreciate.
^^^^ Yes, I agree with you. This forum has a small, but active, group of very negative, nasty, conrarians who attack legitimate discussion and enlightenment. I sadly don't blame Zoe for pulling out of here. She is a very self-confident young woman who has been more than willing to share what the industry looks like to her. Was a lot of her sharing self promotion? Of course. But her insight and honesty are the kind of things I look for here.
I don't know how this topic came up here, but I have always thought it is ridiculous and absurd when performers
write autobiographies, or authorize biographies that use their legal names,
or appear in mainstream movies and are credited by their legal names,
or take their social media accounts that they formerly used for their porn career with their stage names, and rename them after their legal names (rather than closing their porn performer accounts, or allowing them to go dormant, and starting new accounts for their post-porn lives),
or just get into mainstream news stories with their real names included
but on ADT you can get dogpiled on and chastised and edited by moderators when you use knowledge obtained by the above means. At least at first, until eventually common sense prevails. Sometimes. I do know that I followed Zoe Voss on twitter, but one day out of the blue she wasn't Zoe Voss on there anymore. I certainly didn't go looking for her name, she just showed up in my twitter timeline one day. Katsuni has done the same thing, at least on instagram. That said, don't expect a warm response if you see a performer who still does feature dancing, adult bookstore signings, or porn conventions, and you act really chummy and address her by her legal name when she's never introduced herself to you with that name. And obviously it is completely understandable to delete links or usages of real names where the sources are pornwikileaks or similar sites. Deleting links to Taylor Rain's post porn real estate career make sense because even though she is incredibly recognizable as Taylor Rain in them, those agent listings or new stories never made any explicit reference to her having been Taylor Rain.
New to the forum. I was a huge fan of hers (well still am, even though she retired a few years back). Loved her in the Superman spoof, although I was annoyed to find editing had been done to her scene compared to what was show in the trailer. She looked amazing in it. Makeup, clothes... Loved the Clockwork Orange spoof she did for Brazzers (H&M, PLIB) with Madison Ivy and Gia DiMarco. --------------------------------- For those who didn't know, she made a cameo in Chromeo's Jealous (I Ain't With It) released last year which you can see below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhmUnk454MA she shows up at around 0:53. --------------------------------- Heads up on new adult work, she is in Axel Braun's upcoming spoof sequel Avengers 2. She plays Wasp. I was shocked to see her in the trailer and assumed she returned to the industry but after doing a little research, it seems the production work was done in 2012. Surprised it took so long for it to be released. ----------------------------------
yo zoe. i just want to say that you are very cute and i am a big fan of yours, i have seen every work of yours and everyone of them are awesome. i would be very happy if you reply to this post. best of luck for ur future. love you zoe voss.
Anyone know if she is dating April O'neil? Some pics on her instagram seem to indicate this. Anyway April is "straight for pay" I wonder if that was the case with Zoe as well.
Solely based on social media, I think they have been lovers before, or at least played it up for the fans to amuse themselves. Like two years ago, or something like that. But currently, they are still friendly with each other, and will certainly chat and catch up with each other when their paths cross. But they are not going out of their way to make sure that their paths cross on a regular basis, at present.
As far as I'm concerned, Zoe is the most complete, perfect adult actress of all time. I know that's saying a lot, but it's what I believe. Zoe has lived the life. She has traveled the world, crossed back and forth between the high fashion world and porn, and has now settled into a normal life with a beautiful daughter. Good things come from Minnesota. Thanks for everything, Zoe....
Interesting, I wish her well, although if there isn't a return to hardcore shoots then she'll likely remain off my radar ( a bias to be sure but one that is , in many respects, inherent to the theme of ADT ,or at least this section of it)
^Is it really a bias or simply the reality that talking about a past performer that has been gone from the industry for about five years which is almost twice as long as she was in it is more or less a waste of time. Especially when her possible return is to mainstream modeling.
^ Well, I must be in the minority. I enjoy the entire person, not just the person with a penis in them. I like hearing how their life is after porn a lot more than I like fake moans or enhanced breasts. But perhaps that's just me. I like ADT because it's more than a fan site. Twitter is a fan site. ADT is, too me, behind the scenes. Real.
Zoe is back in Minnesota again this weekend. I'm glad she's safe and doing well. That's all...
Agreed. A poster above mentioned having seen names on the IMDB, but, like Wikipedia, any user can make an entry there. In the vast majority of the cases on the IMDB it's just one user doing it. Keeping the real names private is part of the incentive to attract/retain talent. And those are some beautiful pics of Zoe. I'm glad she's doing well post-adult. Zoe is one of the few performers who have had eyes that could stop time itself. Not alot of people with that kind of ability - Uma Jolie, Dana Dearmond, Julia Ann, Casey Calvert among a select few. If they are looking at you, you will drop whatever you are doing.
Looks like an unreleased (?) g/g scene with Zoe and Aiden Ashley has surfaced over at Clips4Sale. Interesting b/c Zoe and Aiden were cast together in Girl Crush (Elegant Angel) back in 2010, when both were just starting out. That scene made me an instant fan of both of them. I don't own this "new" C4S scene, but based on the way Zoe and Aiden look in the teaser, it looks like it dates from the same time as the Girl Crush scene . . .
Oh what a pleasant surprise. Wouldn't mind to see you more peeking here. I am very interested in more informations by a not only beautiful, nice and slim but also good tall pornstar.
