Is it possible that being an attractive young black woman in an industry where that is a rarity made her very popular with most producers and by extension that got her multiple job offers in a very short amount of time and she and her manager and/or agency chose to accept those offers because they were too appealing to pass up? Can't help but point out that a flaky performer has a hard time getting offers when she is represented by an agency but a self-booking flaky performer has a snow ball chance in hell of getting decent bookings because with her actions. She has already told every producer that she is unreliable. Now that doesn't mean that she isn't going to get some offers but there is a certain risk in accepting these offers because she is such a new performer that she really doesn't know all the players. Not all porn producers are created equal and not getting too many offers while the unpaid bills accumulate can lead to her making some foolish decisions. I think Nia is a very beautiful woman and is a good porn performer. For those reasons I hope she gets whatever shit was wrong with her fixed and than decides if doing porn is what she wants to do. If yes, then hopefully she is able to find an agent willing to give her another chance and then she can then get back into the game. I didn't say all of that already happened to her, I was saying that I could see that it was going into that direction. And it probably would have, this is not some kind of honorable industry where performers are always taken care of well. It is the norm for young hot newcomers to be completely burned out from all the extreme acts they're pressured to do in a very short amount of time even while they get ill from the sex. And I'm glad that this site no longer censors this problem in the industry. Again I'd rather see Nia shoot less often and prolong her career than do everything and quit in less than 2 years. I often still screw up but not as bad as if I didn't do those pre-posting corrections. I will repeat in a different way what I wrote above. What you perceive as new performers burning out because of all the shoots they are forced to do is a skewed view of the industry. That's not to say that the industry isn't cruel to talent because it is but it's not any less cruel than the mainstream entertainment industry. It's just that in the adult industry the performers are expected to fuck in a movie instead of fucking to get in a movie for the mainstream industry. You have to understand that one of the reasons why new girls often get many offers is because they are new and that's the nature of the beast. A good agent will gage his/her talent and plan a work schedule that they can both agree on with an understanding that she cannot remain new forever and therefore getting her as many jobs in the early months is a good way to earn bigger paychecks. Now one could argue that not all agents are good but I would say that even the bad ones have a vested interest in making sure that their talent is somewhat happy with their work schedule because they only make money if their talent makes money. Let's take a look at Nia's work schedule in the last year(basically her length of time in the industry). IAFD list 39 scenes to her name. Let's make it an even 40 for argument sake. Of those 3 are oral only, 3 are lesbian only and one is non-sex. That basically means that Nia had sex in about 33 videos in 52 weeks. That is less than one scene per week and none of those scenes were the far more demanding anal, dp or gangbang that many of her peers performed in the same period. That doesn't mean that even that amount of scenes wasn't too much for Nia because I'm more than willing to believe that a 19 year old girl was overwhelmed with what is expected of a porn performer. If that is the case then she should have been upfront with her agent/agency and made sure that they didn't book her for shoots that she was going to flake on. Shoots I suspect she agreed on when she shouldn't have and which in turn probably cost her agency money when she flaked on those shoots. We will never know the truth of what happened but we do know that for all intent and purposes her porn career is stalled and I believe dead unless an agent is willing to take her on. P.S: The one good news I take from this is that she recognized that there she was a problem and is trying to fix it. If that fix means that she never does porn again then I will be super thrilled because if 2017 demonstrated anything. The fact that she was unwilling or worse unable to get another agency to represent her tells me that whatever porn career she could have had will never happen. At least not in the immediate future.
