Mary Carey

Mary Carey, former candidate for Gov of California, was on my team last year when we went to lobby in the offices of Californis Legislators -- she and I stressed the how the Adult Industry is a strong economic engine in CA, and America. Mary did a great job! Now, we need her to strap one on and get the attention of the political dummies in Washington who are attacking us via 2257. Here's some input for Mary to use that I just now posted to the AVN blog:

"Possible Economic Impacts of the "Revised" 2257?
Random thoughts! If American Internet Content providers/buyers can't easily comply with 2257 revisions, and if the providers decide to stop selling/licensing/leasing shoot content due to the hassles of 2257, and/or if non-U.S. webmasters content-purchasers (who aren't under the rules of the American government?) then decide to get all or most of their stills/video/live content from overseas providers who might not be affected by 2257 hassles, doesn't that cost the IRS in tax revenues? Won't American VOD companies and American video manufacturers be severely hurt financially, something the hypocrites in the ultra right wing don't care about? Doesn't that result in lots of lost American jobs, which hurts not only the IRS but also families---families who will have to curtail spending? Keep in mind the HUGE role that consumer spending plays in keeping the American economy aloft. Are not the right-wingers and their beholden politicians causing harm to the American economy? Yuk! Final thought---some Internet surfer won't care if the girl he's masturbating to is American, or European, or Brazilian; all he wants to do is cum. Who loses here---I think it's AMERICA!!! Politicians and ultra right wingers are killing Constitutionally-protected freedoms, and hindering our American economy!!! Yuk, again!"
