In general, how old is a scene when the video comes out? I understand some scenes are held back, but barring any exceptions like this, what is the usual timeframe for a video to be in the pipeline? 3 months? 6? The reason is that like most of us I think I use the hairstyles and color of the girls hair to track when the scene was shot. Any thoughts from the industry folks? Thanks.

Use the 2257 date -- the actual date(s) the scene(s) were produced -- as your way of determining when the movie was filmed vs. when it was released.

There is no "usual" (although there may be a typical film-to-edit-to-post-to-release time frame on a studio-by-studio basis).

Three months to two years++. Very fast -- three months. Very slow -- two years ++.

For some series, 2-4 months; for others, it could be longer---there are simply too many variables that go into the content of specific releases, and the date of release. Plus, like in my Sex Fun/Sugardaddy/Knee Pad Nymphos series, each individual scene becomes a variable---in a normal 10-scene Knee Pad Nymphos, some were shot just 2-4 months prior to release, while others were shot 5 months-two years prior to release.

It all "depends".
