Very rarely does a movie come down the porn pike, that is both unique and highly entertaining, but Michael Raven's "Fairy Tale," is truly the exception.
Raven, one of the finest and most imaginative feature film directors EVER, imho, does not turn out near as many films for Wicked Pictures as in years past, but when he does, you can be sure of one thing--It will be a HIT!
jennifer allison, I'm almost certain the pseudonym for Wicked's all-everything jessica drake--the key,BOTH credit in lower case-- put together, in "Fairy Tale," a wonderful, lilting screen play, which, at times, (and this is no easy task) made the viewer forget he or she was even watching a porn film.
Of course, Stormy Daniels, Kaylani Lei, Janet Mason and a "brand newer," Angelica Saige, provided enough heat to keep the fires burning in that department.
Not to give too much of jennifer/jessica's story away, but the theme centers around a newly-wed couple, played convincingly by Stormy Daniels (who is really one terrifically gifted thespian) and "old reliable," Eric Masterson, who upon moving into their dream home, find that it comes equipped wih a beautiful 10-inch fairy (played wonderfully by Kaylani) living in the garden.
Jack (Masterson) discovers the "grassy nymph" before Jill (Daniels) and in becoming enamored with the delightful little creature, (who, on a full moon, can materialize to human size) starts to neglect his wife, and then the fun begins.
Francois Clouset, Wicked's visionary Director of Photography, along with Raven, put together some of the most delightful (quite a word for porn) scenes as the miniscule fairy interacts with both Jack and Jill, and the results are HILARIOUS, to say the least.
One thing I would like to stress here, is that the film is most definitely "couple friendly," and if any of you out there have been somewhat hesitant to introduce that "new lady" to porn, Wicked Pictures and Michael Raven's "Fairy Tale" would be the vehicle for you!
In conclusion, Mr. Raven, I HOPE you happen to see this "kudo to you," and others at Wicked, as I have really missed marveling at your directorial genius (right up there with Brad Armstrong's, imho), and sincerely hope that your return to the "chair," will be much more frequent in the months ahead.
For not only have you been one of the finest directors in the history of the adult film genre, but over the years, your films have continually incorporated more sexy female cigarette smoking characters than ANY feature film director (perhaps, more than ALL of them combined) and so, on behalf of our huge ever-growing "smokerhood," I thank you for that and SINCERELY hope the trend will continue in ALL your future endeavors at Wicked, the BEST adult feature film company (directors, writers, performers) in the business, imho.
