Yes, they apparently were for real, Sean Costello and Carter Stevens say so anyway. Teenage Twins isn't a good film in any conventional way, and it isn't hot either, but it is a great piece of camp.
It isn't all that bad, though it is important to keep things in context. Both twins eagerly performed oral on each other, french kissed each other and played with each others tits, ass and pussies. They each had multiple sex scenes with different guys including anal and the old-switch-aroo (when one twin pretends to be the other). Last, it is important to remember that these girls had nice, tight little bodies. Are they Ginger Lynns or Teagans? Of course not. BUT THEY ARE IDENTICAL TWINS WHO HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER. Yes, the plot is weak, they actors are bad, the acting is horriblke and the plot is laughable. Thean again THERE ARE IDENTICAL TWINS WHO HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER. Personally, I think it is a must have!
Strange coincidence, I watched this last night and woke up to this thread bumped. I enjoyed the movie - it's my kinda flick in terms of low budget awkwardness and foul mouthed women. But someone will have to give me evidence that they're sisters, let alone twins - they don't have identical faces. I just assumed it wasn't true.
^ Yeah, their bodies are similar, and they had similar haircuts, but I'm not convinced. In fact, I just assumed we were supposed to "go along with it" as a simple fantasy, nothing real. I didn't know the folks behind it were insisting they really were sisters. Maybe I'm wrong, but I need convincing.
Well, I can't find anything online that says they're *not* twins. Maybe they are - that seems to be the consensus here and elsewhere. P.S. bigfoot - what part of my post were you "wowing" about?
The fact that you suggest they are not sisters. There has been much debate on these forums as to whether or not various performers are actually sisters (aka the Stevens sisters) or cousins or sister-in-laws or simply two people who look alike. However, I have never heard anything about Brooke and Taylor Young (the stars of Teenage Twins) being anything other than twin sisters. In fact, IAFD.com lists them as twin sisters - whether that convinces you is going to be up to you.
Teenage Twins is still readily available on DVD through VCX for very reasonable rates. The eBay sale is the OOP Obsession disc, which from what I remember doesn't look any different than the VCX one (I do have them both).

I know that Carter Stevens is hoping to re-release Teenage Twins with Afterhours Cinema. Hopefully their other Carter releases have done well enough to make that happen.
