The Golden Age is typically considered to have lasted from 1972 to 1984 so I've compiled a list of DVDs available that are from that era. This is an all inclusive list so others might be able to find real classic films, not a 'classic' video from 1996! However, the films are here because of the date they were produced not the quality, so be warned there are some bad movies mixed in with the good. (But, in my humble opinion, a bad film from the Golden Age is on par with a good film from today.) I hope you find this list useful and please let me know of any errors or ommissions. I will update it as often as necessary and promise to try and keep it current. 3 A.M. I don't think it is available on DVD yet and the only store who believe otherwise are Excalibur (where the sleeve pic is obviously taken from the VHS boxcover). I ordered it earlier today so I guess I'll see soon enough if it's available. Until then, I'll leave it up (wishful thinking ). Also, I have 3AM & Aunt Peg and the quality is up to NuTech's usual standards. 3AM does look older, of course but I was satisfied with the video and audio. Aunt Peg is great. (I love NuTech - except when they edit!) As far as I know, they are uncut but I had seen neither before so I'm not the best authority on these titles. There are no jumps that made me suspect anything but if you know of a questionable scene in either I'll tell you whether it's intact. As films, they are excellent and I reccomend both. 3AM reminds me of a Ingmar Bergman film and Aunt Peg has some unbelievably hot sex. Check 'em out! [Link] |

I don't want to spread rumors though so I'm waiting for my copy to come in the mail or for someone else to verify that it is. VCX has the only version available on DVD. 2. Both films have been edited to an appreciable extent. EWHAF1 has had any and all images and/or references to Kristara Barrington removed (this was one in which she was supposedly underage), which has made minced meat (chop suey?) of a number of scenes! Of course, all her sex stuff is gone, but also any shots of her in the rest of the movie, as well. If she was included in a two- or three-shot, that frame has been enlarged to remove her, making the resulting video look horrible! If I'm not mistaken, an unrelated scene (from some other film, I think) with John Leslie screwing some other girl has been inserted to help replace the deleted running time. EWHAF2 has had major cuts also. About half to two-thirds of the mild S&M scene in the limousine between John Leslie and Lois Ayres has been removed. Once she's finished removing most of her clothes, there's a cut to an exterior of the limo parked at the side of the road, a fadeout and on to the next scene! There's another small cut later on. In the scene with John Leslie and Keli Richards on the stairs (about 61 minutes in), Leslie only gets two fingers into her. 43 seconds are missing from the original, in which Keli asks for, and gets, three fingers. Hardly a fisting, but VCA cut it anyway! In short, I sent the DVD back to Excalibur (via their Exchange Program), and I'm hanging on to my VHS copies for now! [Link] |
