I'm sure there are reasons why this wouldn't be profitable or a good idea, but I've always thought why doesn't porn have a big live event each year, four hours or so, that would essentially feature a series of scenes made up of the top performers each year? Like Wrestlemania, there could be a main event, perhaps the AVN best male and female performers of that year in a big scene. Then a bunch of "undercard" scenes made up of the top talent of the day. Different scenes might have certain specialty formats, like an oil scene, or a extreme rules, or anal debut. One scene could be a big orgy. Maybe have a couple of retired stars return for one off scenes. Allow fans to vote on certain performers and scene types. Cool tag team scenes. Three on ones. And each year it would be an event that everyone in porn wanted to be a part of... Like wrestling, even the entrances could be spectacles. Just a thought.
