I used to know it well, and considered it my porn must have. Haven't seen it or seen it advertised in years though. Not 100% sure they stopped making it though.
I called them (Knight pulishing) in LA and a guy answered That they went bankrupt and he was there liquidating their assets.I was trying to get the 2010 edition
I knew they had sold the company, but wasn't sure if the new owner was publishing it. Miss it.

Last one I saw was the 2008 edition. Could not find the 2009 edition anywhere, and I don't know whether it was printed/distributed. Can someone clarify whether the 2009 edition was ever distributed? It was well worth its price, with so many performer profiles, and movie reviews. Even the ads were interesting.

Trivia: Adam Film World was my gateway into a career in adult entertainment. I began writing for them (while still a college senior) in 1990. Although I moved into PR in 2000 and the regime I had worked for was long gone by last year, I was very sorry to see the magazine go under. Roads To Moscow / Twitter: @roadstomoscow
I agree, it was a great resource guide to the product released the previous year. Lots of good trivia, too. Too bad good sources of info go out of business, while so much shit dominates in the industry.
Anyone know if the older volumes are worth anything to a collector? I think I have about 10 of them from the early 90s and 2000. Some well worn but no pages stuck together...
I would think they would be. I at least think you'd find a few people who might buy them. I started buying them way back in the 80's. Back then there were few large comprehensive guides on adult films. Even now, it's still tough to find info. on older films. A lot of it apparently didn't reviewed online. I'm guessing the internet eventually made the guide obsolete though.
