It's no biggie, as it's easy enough to copy & paste, but just so you know: I added a link to a post in WN&N and noticed the "add to post" button didn't work (in this case). I haven't tried again yet.

It's happened to me a bunch of times. I think it's most likely to happen if the text you want to make clickable is more than just a few words.

Can you post the link here so I can test it. It's also helpful to know what browser you're using so I can try to duplicate the problem.

The link adder function cuts off links at a certain number of characters. I think it's 250 but I'm not sure.

It was the link in the first post in this thread. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.16 on a Mac.
It worked for this post BTW...

I've always found it to be a crapshoot whether that thing adds the link to the post or not. No obvious pattern to it.

The code doesn't properly parse the double-quote character and breaks the . Drop the quote characters and it works fine.
I'll fix it soon.
