Sorry for any inconvenience people have had with Millenium. The owner of Millenium Movies, Millenium Toys, and Special Order DVDs passed away suddenly in January. A friend of his has tried to keep the business going, but hasn't been able to keep up with the amount of orders they get. For now, we have suspended all three accounts. If you are having any issues with an order through any of the three, please submit a customer service ticket using the following link: http://adultdvdmarketplace.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit Again, sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you! Regards, CJ Customer Service Manager ADM Media
Oh, that's sad :( Things like this are one of the reasons I try to stay as polite and calm as possible when things don't go the way I'd like them to. Anything can happen, and now it has been the saddest thing possible. I wish the staff and the relatives of the late owner well. What comes to the ticket thing, I have already submitted one a week ago but haven't got a reply yet. Should I submit another one, if the original has been lost to somewhere. Or should I send ADM e-mail referring to that ticket? Or should I just wait? What would be the correct way to deal with it?
Please be patient. I am trying to work through all of the tickets, but because of how many orders they had, there are quite a few. If your order was placed through one of the three companies, your order will be refunded and the ticket will be closed. Regards, CJ Customer Service Manager
Getting impatient with a $75 payment do to me. 5-7 Business days to reimburse to my PayPal Acc after the first of the month? Or more like 7-14? The sales were in February. Only two. Have never noticed before because it's always been $10-20 and very infrequent because you will get old trying to sell on there unless your are a Bulk Seller or have rare out of print stuff like I had. Anyone else notice a severe decline in customer service at ADM? In the past when you ran into a bad seller they would issue you a refund in 2 or 3 days. At worst they'd tell you it would be coming at the start of the next month. I've now filled out approximately five tickets for a movie I bought from seller "WantedList" that never arrived. Most of the tickets went unanswered. Finally one ticked got a response giving the seller two days to respond or a refund would be issued. 2 weeks has gone by since then and there's been no refund or response to my followup email stating it's been well over 2 days. I used to feel that you could buy with confidence from ADM, but not anymore. 5 tickets, numerous emails, and several weeks passed by but no refund from a seller with a whole slew of similar complaints recently posted in their feedback. Very disappointing.
^ I wouldn't notice because in the 6 or 7 years I've been a member at ADM I think I've only tried to contact them twice. If a seller doesn't send a movie or the wrong movie I mostly try to deal with the seller. If the seller doesn't answer or make good I just take the loss and never order from that seller again. I know it sounds dumb but 95% of the time I don't have problems that require me to involve ADM and luckily the times when I don't get the movie I ordered it's a movie I ordered from a private seller for under 5 bucks or so. Most of the time I just deal with sellers/dealers who have high rating that are able to get or send replacement DVDs if one gets lost in the mail. Most of the time I order stuff I get it or the seller sends a refund fairly quickly. The last seller who I never received my DVD from I didn't even bother to contact them...I just figured it got lost in the mail.
It's been a long time since I've ordered on ADM, but isn't the seller's email included in the order? ADM's only a broker, so why wouldn't you try to work things out with the seller before contacting ADM. It seems like kind of a dickhead move to bypass the seller if there's a problem unless the seller isn't responding in a timely fashion. "I do not as a rule seek advice about food from thin people..." - Jeffrey Steingarten
Bad seller means a seller who neither sent out the movie nor responds to email. That's why you have to take it up with ADM customer service. They used to take care of such situations in a timely and professional manner. I have no idea what's going on with them now. The movie I bought was $18 plus shipping. Don't see why I should have to eat the cost of that.
^ You shouldn't have to take the loss on a movie and after you've tried to deal with the seller and don't get an answer or a resolution you should contact ADM to get refund and let them know what a seller is up to. The only point I was making was that I don't know if ADM customer service is warse than it was before because I've only contacted them twice. Once before I actually joined the site because I had a question about joining. They didn't respond but I joined anyway. The second time was because the seller told me to because ADM was wrongly listing movies he/she didn't have and they were slow in fixing the problem. That time they responded to me fairly quickly. Overall my experience on ADM has been mostly good. I try to stick with sellers with exceptional feedback and on my coast for any newer/more expensive movies even if they're charging a bit more. It's worth the extra money to get faster service and have piece of mind when ordering. For cheaper movies around the 5 buck price range I'll take a chance on a private seller or a seller on the opposite coast. It's not that I expect them to rip me off but I just know that the further the movie has to travel the more likely it is to get lost in the mail, the longer I'll have to wait for it, and if it has to be replaced they won't have another copy of the movie. More often than not I don't even contact them if the movie doesn't show because I figure it more than likely got lost in the mail. If it's the postal service's fault they shouldn't have to pay for a refund. So if they say they sent it and it never shows I let it go.

Glad I found this topic. I'm thinking of buying DVDs from ADM. Could any of you regular clients of ADM please list the top 3 or 4 most reliable sellers for my sake please? Thanks in advance.
^ When you see the list of sellers that have that DVD some of them will be tagged with "Especially Reliable" (or something like that). Those are the ones who've gotten the best feedback with no or very few negative responses. Generally if you stick with those you'll be fine. The majority of sellers on the site are pretty reliable but those are above and beyond. Those are the ones who give good service, get back to you quickly if there's a problem, and have the resources to fix any problems you might encounter. In many cases the ones that have the best feedback are the ones who offer the best deals on new release DVDs. The ones I tend to use most and like the best are ALLDELIGHT.COM, WHACKYDVD.COM, LUCKYSTAR.DVD, and XRENT.COM. With those sellers I usually get my movie in about 3 days without fail. They're all out of California and I'm in Nevada. Other companies are reliable but the movies might take longer to get to me. It's always best to order from the sellers who ship First Class if possible. For used and older DVDs where you just want the cheapest buy in most cases those will be from private sellers who are selling their own personal collection to get rid of them or after they've copied them to their harddrive. And sometimes it'll be a company that's a store that's selling off old rentals. In these cases go with the seller with the best feedback if possible. Plus, try to stick with sellers closest to your state. Like I mentioned before, the longer and farther the DVD has to travel the more likely the chances of it being damaged or lost. But for the most part the sellers on the site are okay and in most cases you won't have any major problems with the vast majority of them.

Thanks for that info Draxxx. I'm really only interested in buying the cheapest new movies. 1price, AllDelight and LuckyStar seem to have 95% of the movies I want and at the price I want. From what I've read on ADM, these 3 vendors would appear reliable so I'll give them a go.
Beware do not sell your DVDs on ADM! I have been a customer with them for over 5 years and are used to their slow and awful customer service so I only use a few select sellers who I know will not mess up my order. A few years ago I had a vender who would constantly mess up orders and I learned quickly that ADM will not help you resolve the issuein other words you are SOL. So fast forward to the present. I sold two DVDs to a customer who received the DVD's in perfect condition but the seller claimed that one of the cases was cracked. ADM ended up refunding all the money for both DVDs and taking it from my seller account. The buyer acknowledged both DVDs were fine. This is the type of customer service I am used to from them. Pathetic!
I guess I'm fucked, I wish I had read this thread prior to opening a seller's account with Adult DVD Marketplace. I open a seller's account two days ago, I listed about 50 dvds and had 4 discs sale in the first day, I shipped the first three DVDs and was in the process of shipping the 4th disc when my account was abruptly closed. I tried logging in several times and was denied, I searched the site for the titles I had listed and all of the movies I had for sale were missing. Made several attempt to contact customer service and I got nowhere. So I guess I'll try contacting the buyer and ask them to return my DVDs and request a refund form Adult DVD Marketplace, my only problem is one of the buyers lives in the next town and I'm sure he's already received his purchase. Does any one know if Adult DVD Marketplace is a one man show? And is there better place to sale used DVDs?
I purchased some DVD's from these guys and got some good service. I don't know about the seller's side of the house and probably won't try that aspect of the website. I ordered DVD's from three different sellers with the expedited shipping option for all three sellers. LuckyStar received notification of my order on the same day it was placed and sent me an email letting me know they had the order. Two days later I had their DVD's. I never received an acknowledgement of receipt of order from 1price but I did get their order a couple of days later. The third seller, 7bullit7, was apparently absorbed by LuckyStar. I am completely satisfied with the system as I experienced it.
Hi pornologist -- from the scenario you're describing, it sounds like something about your account has unfortunately erroneously alerted one of our fraud filters, triggering a suspension and review of your account. If you will please submit submit a support ticket on ADM to our technology queue, I'll make sure this review is expedited and your account is fully restored. Thanks, ADM Tech Support.
I've been selling and buying at ADM for years. Have had a few little problems, but no major ones. There isn't a good place to rent DVD's in my town, so ADM is basically a rental service for me.
It's amazing that you've responded to this thread but you haven't responded to any of the 10 message sent directly to your website, it appears as if you're trying to give people a false impression of the quality of service from your company. Also I google your company and there is crap everywhere on the internet complaining, I only wish I had read them prior to listing my DVDs with your company. I've lost three out print DVDs through your company. I only hope the FBI is monitor this thread to catch your Bullshit
Okay, I had no interest in litigating your complaint on a public forum, I was only offering to review your situation with a fresh set of eyes, but I just got the details of your case from customer support, and they certainly warrant a rebuttal to your accusations. First of all, your new seller's account was automatically suspended because an older customer account of yours under a different username (but same email) was closed back in 2002 due to the credit card charge for an order you placed having been disputed. Secondly, I see the following response to your support ticket from our customer support staff sent on 10/11/2012, alerting you that your new account was being (and remains till now) restored:
Thirdly, I've also been advised that you subsequently sent messages to your three customers urging them to dispute their credit card charges and notifying them that:
I think these facts speak for themselves. I will be permanently closing your account at this point-- neither our support staff, nor our customers, (nor the FBI, SAR, and Eric Holder, for that matter), need to be subjected to this kind of bellicosity. You will receive reimbursement for the orders you shipped when checks go out at month's end. Regards, ADM Tech Support
As I'm an international buyer, I know I should've posted in this forum. But I chose this topic because it's the most "active" one For me, buying on ADM is becoming less and less advantageous with time because of the unjustified increase in shipping costs. When I started using ADM in 2010, it used to be $14.00 for 1st DVD and $1.00 for additional DVDs. At the end of January 2012, it became $17.00 (+21%) for 1st DVD and $1.00 for additional DVDs. Today, it's $24.00 (+41%)! for 1st DVD and $0.50 for additional DVDs. Are you kidding me? Some ADM "top" sellers use very poor packaging and slow shipping methods. So I wonder where this extra money goes to. 1 of my goals for 2013 was to try to buy less porn. This should make it really easy One last thing: should I expect a 61% increase in January 2014?
Hi pierre78, Unfortunately, we share your frustration on this one. On January 27th USPS raised their International Priority flat rate from $16.95 to $23.95, forcing us to pass this increased cost on to our international customers. Just to be clear, this is certainly not an increase that either ADM or our sellers are profiting from. We certainly recognize that this USPS fee increase disadvantages us with international buyers, but unfortunately this isn't anything that we have control over. Regards, Gary
For the last 2012 order I placed in December (ie before the price hike), shipping costs were $17 (4 DVDs). Yet postage on the package was $6.12. As I doubt the envelop is worth almost $11, can you tell me where that extra money goes to?
For those sellers on ADM who choose to ship internationally, the rate class required by ADM's terms stipulates USPS International Priority Shipping (less expensive rate classes have an unacceptable level of lost shipments for a marketplace style venue). As of January 27th, the flat rate for USPS International Priority Shipping is $23.95 (outside of Canada). For some context, in 2012 this rate was $16.95, and in 2011 it was $13.25, so this rate has nearly doubled in the past two years. If you're in Canada, then the shipping fee charged would be slightly higher than actual costs (the flat rate to Canada is $19.95). This is due to the single price tier for international shipping that ADM uses for the sake of simplifying the shipping process for sellers. Given the ever increasing cost of shipping internationally, this does do Canadian customers a disservice, and should be looked at in the future. Regarding the particular shipment you described, without knowing the specifics, it sounds as if a seller utilized a rate class below the mandated Priority Mail class, in which case he would certainly warrant negative feedback reflecting such.
How on a site adultdvdmarketplace.com to send the personal message to the seller before purchase? I want to ask more in detail about the product before purchase. Thanks for answers. Edited by - WASP66 on 10/18/2013 5:33:32 PM

As a DVD buyer who had never heard of ADM before March of this year, I have to say that I'm mad at myself for having not discovered ADM sooner. So far, I've completed 4 transactions through ADM (ordering a total of 21 DVDs), using a different seller each time, and I have to say that I have no complaints. The DVD prices and shipping costs are surpisingly low, and in each transaction I've had with ADM so far I was able to obtain the shipping information from the seller so I knew exactly what day the DVDs would be delivered. Again, I'm pissed off at myself for not having discovered ADM sooner, I feel like the DVD stores I used in years past ripped me the fuck off. [o\|]

There are many fine sellers on ADM, AllDelight is one for sure, so is LuckyStar, WhackyDVD, Tinastitles, and many more. But there is one seller from New York, a exceptionally reliable seller it says, one of the "top sellers" there, over 19,000 feedbacks, who charges premium prices for discs, who I have bought from twice before, once where it was too much of a problem for him to give me a refund on a defective disc, I gave up and took some other DVD as a substitute i.e. credit, to make up for it, then *months later* bought from him an expensive sealed disc I could not find anywhere else with no problem, and now I discovered personally he is selling DVD-R copies of Sineplex movies, with the compressed picture and the photo paper for labels.... I can't take that anymore. I know who to trust and not trust I will simply never buy from that one person again. EDIT: this was not an Extreme release, where some of their releases are on DVD-Rs. This was homemade. Edited by - NightRider69 on 1/17/2015 7:48:32 PM Edited by - NightRider69 on 1/21/2015 10:53:52 PM Edited by - NightRider69 on 2/9/2015 9:36:18 AM
As a word of warning, Adult DVD Marketplace is deleting negative feedback against sellers. I left negative feedback for CinemaConceptsVideo.com due to sending me a bootleg (this was confirmed by the manufacturer who stated they have never issued a DVD-R). The feedback has been deleted from Adult DVD Marketplace without any notice sent to me. I still have the e-mails from the manufacturer confirming that I was sent a bootleg, which I could have given to them to prove I wasn't making a false accusation. There are a few other feedbacks stating this seller sent a bootleg that are still there along with several stating they were sent DVD-Rs which might, but might not be, bootlegs as well. Each one gets the same response I did from the seller that I did of they come from a distributor so the seller knows nothing about it. Obviously at this point the seller knows they are peddling bootlegs and sadly Adult DVD Marketplace is deleting feedback about it.
That hasn't been my experience. I recently ordered a used film from ADM, the seller having let me down before. As expected I was let down again and placed some negative comments. I just checked and they're still there. I've also had nothing from great customer service from ADM who offered to mediate for me if I didn't get a refund from the eseller.
For those who sell on Adult DVD Market Place, how long does it take to get your payment if being paid by PayPal? It says it takes 7 days from the start of the month if over $20. I had over $50 in 45 days (makes you wait that long if you want to be paid through PayPal), and it's now day 8 and nothing has been paid to me, which according to their site, should have been yesterday.
Today will be day 9, not sure if they will happen on a Saturday. It would be a nice birthday gift if they did! I actually got an email on July 3rd, saying my reimbursement from June 30th had been processed and it should arrive "shortly"...

I am a frequent buyer on ADM and the site as a whole is excellent for buying and collecting, not sure about the selling experience since I do not sell on it. Some really good sellers I recommend completely are tony55447 (excellent as well for overseas), perfectpartner101, 1price, WhackyDvd,cheekydvd and Jackthelad. These sellers are usually very fair on price and ship quite well and absolutely no bootleg or DVD-R worries. I for one hate the "authorized to make and distribute DVD-R's" or "this was what the distributor sent us" explanations as I prefer quality over just getting something I could have made at home. These sellers I can say will not give that excuse or at the very least not return an email with a problem or even a question. Now for the bad sellers on ADM and again this is an opinion but as I buy a lot off of ADM so I do speak from experience. A big issue that ADM does have is that they do not force these bigger sellers to improve, though they are great in assisting a buyer in getting these folks to respond. I would avoid rockharddvd( very slow shipping and ignores emails and does not send with priority mail even if customer has paid for it also lists older items it does not have or can get rather than remove them timely from the site), CRUSHIN( great pricing but will hold orders until they can be filled without letting buyers know) and of course ExcaliburFilms (who are hands down the worst company on the site and one ADM should have taken off years ago). Now remember these are opinions and criticisms based on both experience and from talking to other buyers, and some folks may get lucky with these cats and not have an issue but this is a risk scale and these are ones I hesitate as well as others to use. Lastly, the following companies have a larger than norm number of bootlegs or "authorized DVD-R's" in regards to their older catalog or out of print titles. Extreme Associates (no shock there), Notorious, West Coast, Pleasure, Horizon/Heatwave and of late have been seeing more and more VCA, Vivid and now some Elegant Angels since the sale of the company to its new owners( not the new stuff they are releasing but the older classic Patrick Collins era ones). If anyone is thinking of buying from someone email me thru AdultDVDTalk and I likely can give a fair assessment of a seller or title being bought to better help you. Again ADM is an amazing site I highly recommend and their customer service is excellent so know its the best site really to buy from and my only goal with this post is to help both them, the sellers and more importantly you as the buyers with some things that can be avoided or at the very least improved,i.e. seller performance.

I have been paying attention to this Flash and I do agree that this is happening as some negative feedback that was there on this seller just 2 days prior where the seller stated his old response of " we only buy our DVD's from reputable sellers" has been removed as this seller despite knowing they are selling burned copies is allowed to continue so with impunity. The 1st time it happens this seller should have checked and verified the claims but they have chosen not to and now the removal of feedback regarding this is horseshit. So since ADM is doing this please add CinemaConceptsVideo as a seller NOT TO ORDER FROM.
I've been a seller on ADM for over 10 years now with very few problems. All of them have been minor. Nothing relating to the website itself at all. My only problem is I acquired 30 German Goo Girls movies and I can't sell them on their site now.

Looks like these guys may have gone belly up...no longer responding to emails or providing any real updates.
I know it's not the same, but you can always put together packages or something like so sell DVDs directly in the Adult DVD Talk Trading Forum. Beyond there and Ebay I'm not sure of anywhere else one can sell used adult DVDs... “No man’s life, liberty or property is safe while the legislature is in session” - Mark Twain
In some way it is still online. I keep getting "price lowered" updates from other major sellers on ADM. If the site was completely down I don't think that would be possible. An update from someone over in customer service would be fantastic. If it takes a month whatever, but no other site is anywhere close to these guys. All of the other DVD stores online will "buy" DVDs from you at pennies on the dollar. Not interested in dealing with them.
I tried to get an answer about the site so I shot them a couple emails saying their customers deserved an answer. I got a reply back that said "hopeful for tomorrow".
I heard the same thing. Hoping by the end of the week it is back online. Like I've screamed numerous times Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday are coming. Should be a profitable end to the year.
They've recently changed the announcement on their front page to "maintenance issues" The first announcement that I saw three weeks ago said that they had lost a credit card processor. Said processor did not want to be associated with adult film sellers anymore. The fact that they've taken that wording down without any resolution is scary. I've never had a problem with them or any of their sellers.
^ Funnily, a few weeks ago I rung up an order totalling about a hundred and fifty bucks, which I didn't have, it was all going on the credit card debt. When I went to put it through, it said the credit card was declined. Tried it a few times more, and it kept saying the same thing. I knew I had the available credit, so I assumed there was something wrong with the card, and meant to contact my bank.
Some sellers on ADM have also their own websites, like Alldelight and Luckystardvd, I'm wondering if 1price also has his own website. I did a search on Google, but I couldn't find anything. any help ?

It sucks that I'm in one of the states they won't ship to (Oklahoma). They claim it's because of obscenity laws but I checked the statutes and there's no law against owning porn (just selling/making/exhibiting). I contacted them about this and they said they couldn't process credit cards from my state, which is strange considering that both AdultDVDEmpire and eBay's Adult's Only section has no problems with this.
