Hi!

I just wanted to place an order over there, like i did many times before, but this time the only shipping options to Germany i got are 'USPS Global Priority Mail ($11,00)' and 'UPS International(1-2) Express ($20,50)'. What happened to the 'Standard Air Mail' option? Okay, it took nearly 4 weeks for the discs to arrive here but this method was really customs friendly.

Does anyone know why they don't offer this option anymore?

What a pity!! I also live in Germany and adultdvdnow was just the best mailorder to pass customs. (and this shipping option was cheap, of course, too...)
Have you already send an email to them to confirm this? And what about the other shipping options, are they also customs friendly? Would be nice if someone (especially from Germany with it's f.king porn laws) could post some experiences.

Whatever, they offer free shipping until the end of February. I'll get two or three for sure. :)

The weird thing is that according to their Free Shipping Promotion they still offer 'Deutsche Post Standard Mail" for all the international packages but during the checkout process this option is gone?!

Anyway, right now i'm using Adult DVD Today for most of my stuff. The prices are quite the same and the best thing is it only took 1-2 weeks for the goods to arrive here (customs safe).

I was also disappointed when I couldn't select the AirMail option also. Whatever happened to it?

Right now I get my stuff at Asianplayboy. They ship using Global Priority, but for some reason it doesn't come with a customs form so the package never seems to get caught. I guess for people that's worried about getting their package caught, can try them out also. Let me know the results.

I always use UPS International Express when I order from them. It's not cheap, but very fast (2-3 business days to Germany). You can track your package, the package is insured when it's lost and it's customs friendly (the DVDs are packed in a thin enevelope).

I've ordered from them since 18 months now and never had any trouble with the customs. IMHO UPS and Fedex are the best shipping methods for adult oriented material to Germany with his stupid mail laws.

Hello,

That shipping method was removed due to high customs intervention in Germany.. The carrier that handles this mail requires a customs declaration, it took a little while but German customs finally got hold of them. We logged 38 missing envelopes during a 30 day period, out of those 24 customers actually rec'd letters from German Customs...

Global Priority is still traveling well, 5-11 day transit reports..

UPS International Express is reportedly arriving in 2 business days..

Kind Regards,Frank

Hi Frank, thanks for the info from me, too. I'll try the global priority shipping option soon.

Sounds interesting. I'll have a look at this option when I buy four or more DVDs.

Little update:
I've tried the global priority option with three DVDs now. I received the envelope after nine days and there was no declaration on it for customs nor was it checked by them obviously.
So, all is fine to me.
