Maybe someone here can tell me a better way to go about solving this problem. I've been a loyal ADN customer since I got my DVD player. I always go there, and I would like to keep going there, but they are really upsetting me. Here's the deal, I ordered 3 movies from, them. I knew one was a "preorder", so I fully expected my package to contain the other two DVDs. Well, I only got one, the other was on "backorder" and would ship out as soon as it arrived. No problem, it's happened before. So, I wait,, wait, wait. Two weeks,I check the site, ok, it's still listed as out of stock...3 weeks ALRIGHT, it's listed as Available. ..... 4 weeks..the title is no longer even listed on the company website. The real problem is that I've already been billed(confirmed by calling my CC company). You guys have any ideas how to solve this? I tried emailing...no answers. [Link] |

We would prefer that our customers are enjoying their purchase, and it would also keep the administrative cost down if we do not have to manage a lot of backorders. As you know, one of the titles you ordered is in fact on pre-order, at last I heard not expected in until mid October at the earliest. As soon as it arrives, we will be fulfilling all pre-orders as soon as possible. With regards to the back ordered title, it has not been in stock on our site since prior to you ordering it. We have several on back order and are merely awaiting their arrival. I have spoken with our purchasing department and since they did not arrive today, we will be trying another source. I am told that we will have it on Monday. Your email was received yesterday. Last night I did read it, and had printed it along with your invoice so I could better research it this morning. Your second email was sent 9 minutes before your post here. I did want to respond, but I wanted to gather all the facts first. I have replied to both your emails and am awaiting your reply for resolution. Com, we strive to offer the best customer service, second to none. I inquired with our customer service dept as to what went wrong here. Apparently, we received the e-mails, and we were researching the problem. I personally appologize for our delay in getting back to you, and I can assure you, steps will be taken in the future to at least advise the customer that we received the e-mail and are working out a solution.
