Can anyone help me to find good adult films, which are made for women, ie. contain handsome men and show more men than in average adult film (which usually show just women).
Tonppa, Welcome! I wish I could help out here, believe me. I too have been searching for something like you describe for a long time, but I'm afraid I have some bad news. Unless your girlfriend doesn't mind watching gay porn, it doesn't exist. You see, the common belief is women don't buy porn. Men buy all the porn, so porn is made for men (who don't even wanna see the guy's face). This is totally understandable if true - but I question whether this is true because women don't like porn in general, or maybe they don't buy it because there's NOTHING APPEALING out there to buy! There are some movies that are supposed to be made for women, eg Eyes of Desire. I found it boring. I thought the men were hot in In The Flesh - unlike the typical frat looking guys, In The Flesh has manly European men.
I'd also recommend Shane's World 19 - erik everhard is one of the best looking guys in porn - and it's a fun DVD to watch with your girlfriend.
Judging by the snippets I've seen of Private's DVDs the men are pretty good-looking. But the sex may be too hardcore (lots of anal) depending on your girlfriend's likes.
DB: you haven't seen any straight porn movies you liked?

Steph, I apologize, I should have been more helpful here, instead of jumping on my bandwagon. While I haven't seen those you listed, I will put them on my list provided they are facial-free, thank you. I was hard pressed to come up with a title such as Tonppa described, but that doesn't necessarily mean there are none in my collection that parts of wouldn't fit the bill. Ultimate's The Dinner Party comes close - while not exactly focused on the men, you at least see their faces, and if you can get past Randy West, not half bad. I'll try to come up with some more. The sex in the rain was one of my favorite parts of the movie (though I also have fond memories of Charmaine getting oral sex on the bow of the boat :)
DB - I ride the same bandwagon. I think the studios are finally realizing that there is a female audience. They just don't know what we really want to see yet.

The parts I saw of African Dream were some of the most beautifully shot sex scenes - definitely made me want to see more of Private's movies filmed in exotic locations.
I think Adam & Eve titles are more suited for women viewers who anticipate couples and romantic porns

I think they are perfect for couples, or a first home visit kinky date. (Kinky date meaning, ya getting ready to show some skin, but need a little libido)
1. Ah, the quest for the "couple's film," something you can show your wife or girlfriend and not have to sneak porn around. Unfortunately, I have to agree with dumblonde --there's not much out there. There's always a shortcoming: perhaps it's got a great plot, but the sex is boring or the actors are ugly. Or it looks gorgeous but there's no plot at all or there's too much girl-girl. Or the acting is terrible. Or the women don't look like they are enjoying themselves (I think that's one of the biggest flaws in porn--women can tell when other women are completely bored...or in pain).
2. I really liked Ultimate's The Dinner Party, but can't recommend it right now. The transfer is atrocious and the audio has some serious problems. A new remastered special edition was promised months ago, but so far, nothing. Also, while the guys are fairly good looking (in my opinion), I don't think it would work for most women since it has some really intense lesbian scenes.
3. Call me crazy, but I think the men are one of the major liabilities in Private videos. The women are (usually) drop dead gorgeous, but the guys aren't equally good looking. They mostly just have big dicks, can fuck in really awkward positions, and aim their cumshots at girls' faces. Besides, Private is on the "harder" side of porn, with healthy doses of anal, facials, double penetration, threesomes, orgies, huge dildos, and more. My perception of what women enjoy doesn't include that type of subject matter.
4. Adam & Eve is known for their couple's films, but I'm not sure whether that's because they are, or because that's what they say they are. Higher production values? Yes. Better sets & locations? Yes. Better plots? Usually. But they have pretty much the same hardcore elements under the hood that every other typical adult studio has.
5. Right now, I think Wicked and VCA are producing the most women-compatible porn right now. But, I stress "most," since there really aren't any perfect efforts out there.
6. Steph : What do women want to see? I'm not completely sure myself, so I can't imagine that any male-dominated studio would either. What is the ideal "good-looking" guy? Are you talking about the rugged, wholesome type? A pretty face? Hardbodied Chippendale dancer body? The young college student?

I haven't seen enough Private DVDs to judge the men - but they were pretty good looking from what I saw. I'm sure that my definition of good looking men is not the same as other women. I don't like the Tom Cruise frat boy look. The men in gay porn are much better looking than straight porn, but they're usually too muscular for my tastes.
All I ask is that every guy in porn look like Jakob Dylan (kidding.) A variety of guys would be nice - some college boys types, some older men (not dirty old men). Men who care about their bodies, but not steriod studs.
It's impossible to create a few porn movies for women as women's tastes differ as much as men's. I'd kill for more movies like Shane's World - ie FUN PORN. I don't have a problem with facials as long as the girl doesn't look like acid is being dropped on her face - it would be nice if they were laughing ('cause I am.)
I think women want the same things in porn that a lot of guys (at least many of the guys here) want: attractive people having fun, less surgically enhanced body parts, less 'whorish' makeup, no more pretend plots (either have one or don't, but don't waste time forcing those who can't act to act.)
Is it just me, or did everyone skip from straight to gay without taking a stop in the middle? Probably just me. Anyway I ask what about bi porn? Would seem to offer the "best of both worlds" - yes, I know there is a third world but someone would really have to want to start a topic about that to go into it. I haven't seen any really hot bi porn, but it's out there somewhere. I thought Curious would be hot at first, but it had too many lulls in the action for my taste but still a decent flick. AVN gave it a 4/5 and since you can find it for $10 it's worth checking out. If you've seen it, back me up on the third scene - the straight scene - being the worst of all. Both because the guy was out of shape and both the guy and woman were almost entirely silent... be loud while getting fucked.I think the steroid look is horrible, but I think the men in gay porn are much better looking, too, so I would think they are not too beefy enough of the time so that it's not noticeable.

Well put. This is the way I see it for both men and women. For women, natural, not fake, not anorexic... not overboard.To expand on this, what I'm looking for is less obviously surgically enhanced body parts. If a woman is uncomfortable because she has an A cup and has trouble because of society and breast size hangups they cause and wants to "upgrade" to a B or C cup, that's much more acceptable. If a woman wants to get tits the size of her head, that's unattractive - not even getting into it being unhealthy. People need to realize it's not like computers where you upgrade to 256 Megs of memory instead of 196 because it is not that much more expensive.
My take on bi videos is that the male and female performers are usually not that attractive. In many cases, the guys are scrawny looking, and the girls are often at the end of their porn careers and take bi roles because they aren't getting much straight work. There are exceptions, like Tina Tyler or Sky, but not many.
As for Curious specifically, I think AVN was smoking something, because that's one of the worst bi movies I've ever seen. I know I'm not alone in getting suckered in with the $10 price tag. Maybe it's because I don't care for Candy Apples or because I'm not bi or gay myself, but being as objective as I can, I thought it was pretty mediocre compared to, for example, Catalina's bi stuff from the 80s and early 90s.
I'm with Saki on his opinion of Curious. Tina herself said it was lousy and repeatedly apologized for it in chat not long ago. I'll stick with her assessment.
Rougher sex films aren't the problem, so now I think I should check these Private -films. My girlfriend loves Matt Damon -style guys, so... :) Well, the men shouldn't be to muscular, she doesn't like that.

I thought the second and third scenes were boring. The first and last scenes were good, even if they should have been better. DVD Advantage has it for $7.95. Surely most movies unless they really suck are worth that.Assuming they're out on DVD already, any recommendations?
