Just a general note: You guys should keep in mind that
if a disc does not run on your player it does not mandatorily mean the
disc is defective. It's likely possible the same disc runs fine on another player.

I personally don't know what the reasons are for this behaviour... the only
thing I can say is that about 80% of all titles returned to us as being defective
run fine on our devices.

Your problem is not a stand-alone occurance. Recently, I made two orders from AdultDVDEmpire. 3 DVDs in each order. I received one package two days ago and one today. Out of 3 DVDs in each package, one is defective. Heck, the discs won't even load in my DVD player. When I inspect the back of the discs, I noticed scratch marks, fingerprint smudges, and speckles. I already shipped both DVDs back to them for replacement.

I've been a frequent customer of both DVDEmpire and AdultDVDEmpire for last few months and have spent over $500 with them. I've never encountered any problem with DVDs until the recent problems. I will continue to shop at DVDEmpire and AdultDVDEmpire. But if I encounter one more defective DVD anytime soon, I will probably quit shopping at DVDEmpire/AdultDVDEmpire. I don't know how AdultDVDEmpire do their quality control, but right now they are at 2 strikes with me. One more strike and I'm out as a customer.

you might want to re-read what Drew posted a little higher up in this thread. AdultDVDEmpire does NOT manufacture the DVDs. They only sell them. There is nothing they can do with their "quality control" to make sure the DVD works on your player, unless of course you want them to test out every single DVD they sell on every possible DVD player. My guess is that would increase their prices a little bit, though.

It would make more sense to say "Boy, I've received 2 defective DVDs from studio XXX... maybe I'll stop buying their DVDS"

Since you asked me to mention the DVDs with problem, I will list those two here:

1) Evil Angel's Ass Worship - tons of finger prints, scratch marks, and speckles. Disc won't even load in my player.

2) Red Light District's Cum Swapping Sluts - some scrach marks and strange glue like substance near outer track of the disc. Disc will load in my player, but freeze 9 seconds after showing FBI warning message.

Keep in mind that these are supposed to be new DVDs in the original plastic wrap. I've purchased hundreds of DVDs, both adult and non-adult ones, and have never encounter defects like these in a supposely new discs. In a used disc, I can understand. But finding a used disc in a new DVD? Maybe Porndudefreak should also mention in more detail what the defect in his discs are. Perhaps there is a pattern to all these latest defects, or perhaps they are just random occurances. But don't you think it would be to AdultDVDEmpire's best interest to look into this a bit more to see if their distributors are being totally honest with them?

Look, I'm not looking to blame anyone for this problem. My interest is only in finding out the root cause of the problem and finding a solution so this problem won't occur in the future. Guys, don't make me into a bad guy here. If we can help AdultDVDEmpire find out why a bunch of DVDs are showing up used or defective, it means there is less chance you guys will encounter used disc in a new DVD in the future. Isn't that, in fact, something good for you too in the long run? Think about this a bit before flaming me please

First let me say, that we buy 95% of our DVDs directly from the studios. so there isnt a problem with a distributor.

Let me also add that with the amount of DVDs that move though our warehouse, from time to time defective disks are shipped out, and as soon as we are aware, we inform the customers and replace them immediatly. For instance we had a few reports of defectives on a particular title in our leisure time sale last month, so I made sure we replaced every customer's DVD defective or not, just to thwart any problems....

I appriciate people posting in our defense, becasue it is true, we do not manufacter any DVDs and thus have no quality control measures over defective disks (other than opening and testing every disk that we ship out, which is a little unrealistic)The plain fact is - certain studios are notorious for bad product (i wont mention any names)

The bottom line is - whether it's our fault or not, it is definitly our problem. you guys are our customers, and we want to do everything we can to keep you satisfied.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but if you call our customer service office, and explain your problem, they will give you a "call tag" that will get you free return shipping and then ship the replacement back to you at no charge to you. We cant give a call tag to people with PO boxes, so you would have to pay to ship it back to us, but then we would still ship the replacement back to you free of charge - but thats the only exception. If you call our customer service department, they will take care of you.

I was just upsetting at the moment and nobody to vent to at that time, so i decided to post in the forms.

Their must be something about "ME" when i vent I get people

Regardless, I don't think knowing who you are would have any impact on the reaction to this thread. If anything, if you've been here for a while, you should know that it's generally frowned upon to resolve individual customer service issues in the shopping forum.
