I received a email this afternoon about AdultGayDVD.com. I checked out the site real quickly. It's designed well and is easy to navigate. Is anyone familiar with this site? Comments, feedback?

Just looked over the site...it doesn't look too bad although not a huge selection and prices seem high...although I didn't really comparative shop....
I still like some of the other sponsors better....ie: adultdvdempire or fivestar

netguy - It's a relatively new site. I'm sure their selection will continue to grow. I've noticed through the price search that the product gay offerings from the various stores are very inconsistent. Adult DVD Empire has the most extensive selction of gay titles of any store currently with more being added all the time.
How important is it to shop at a "gay only" DVD store? I've heard many different answers to this question. I'm sure there are guys that don't want to be bombarded by bimbos and silicone tits and are willing so spend a couple of extra dollars. If price and selection were the same then I suppose that it really doesn't matter. But if price or selection play into the shopping experience is a full-line store the better way to go?

Its not really that new.. its simply the gay section of DVDExotic cut off into it's own site. I've purchased from DVDexotic before and the service was nice but there wasn't anything that adultDVDEmpire doesn't have save the occasional sale.

I noticed AdultGayDVD a week or two ago-- DVDPriceSearch is running a button ad of theirs presently. It really surprised me!
I agree with the others that there's nothing too special about their selection or price at first glance--but it may grow and improve, who knows...
Gay-specific stores are great for content and reviews (like TLA VIDEO) but I still tend to make my purchases based on price-comparison, and they haven't been that competitive...

I look at it this way - it's great that the gay DVD market is getting more and more attention - the more attention the better the selection the better the prices the bigger the market the better the prices the better the selection etc.
It's rough being the early adopter, but at the same time every purchase you make, every time you provide feedback to the stores and studios (through forums or email), makes a huge difference. We are all shaping the market. Use your powers wisely
