Haha, I was wondering if anyone would catch the EAA thing. In this usage it could be the Experimental Aircraft Association. They have a hell of a convention but you wouldn't be taking pictures of half-dressed girlies.

^ Are there a bunch of Howard Hughes & Katherine Hepburn cosplayers at the EAA convention? I could be into that.

Last Day of Adult Entertainment Expo Raises Questions for Year Ahead
LAS VEGAS, NV - As the final minutes of Day 4 brought a close to this year's AEE, questions arose about what would happen in the industry in the coming months, and what changes we'll see at next year's event. How many of the performers who appeared and signed this weekend will still be in the business come next January? Will the number of participating studios continue to drop? Or are we about to witness the next renaissance in the adult industry?
In years past, the last day of the expo usually began with mostly empty booths and podiums. This became even more pronounced in 2009 when the event shifted its schedule to end the day after the AVN Awards Show. Not much different this year, although a few gems could be found here and there. Most notable of these was the presence of Tori Black, who had just been awarded the coveted honor of Female Performer of the Year on Saturday evening. Even though Tori has a reputation for showing up first to work at any assignment, be it a movie shoot or a convention signing, I think it's safe to say she would've been forgiven for sleeping in this particular morning. But no, stubborn professional that she is, Tori was among the very first performers to arrive at the expo on Sunday morning. And she stayed until the very end. That level of class and dedication has to be applauded, especially in light of the scene at Vivid.
It's become an annual joke on the AEE floor: Vivid never shows up on the last day. Even when they do, such as the years when the show ended on Saturday, their presence would be limited and fleeting, at best. This year was no different, as the Vivid booth was once again a ghost town for the entire day. Fact is, there is no legitimate excuse for this. If it was just one or two girls, nobody would raise an eyebrow. After all, most of the studio booths had an empty seat or two on Sunday. But none of them boasted 100% no-shows on the last day. I can't help but wonder if some of the Vivid girls (like Sunny Leone, who never pulls this crap at any other show) did want to appear on Sunday, but felt pressured to stay away in some ridiculous show of solidarity.
For some reason, the show closed at 4:00 PM, which is the earliest I can recall in recent years. This fact was punctuated by the lingering presence of daylight outside the windows as we exited the expo hall. Based on the large number of performers who stayed until the last minute, I believe the show could have stayed open for one more hour, at least. Couple this with the early closing time on Saturday (a necessity due to the AVN Awards), and it's difficult to say you got your money's worth if you only attended the last two days.
With another AEE in the books, attention shifts to the future. Rumors continue to swirl about the show's future as a fan event, but no official statements have been made. Jules Jordan Video proved they could be just as busy and popular with a smaller booth, which may (hopefully) inspire some of the absent studios to plot a return in 2011. For me, the biggest question concerns the performers themselves. It's a fair bet that some of the girls I met this year will not be back next year. That's not some doomsday, pessimistic prediction - just speaking from experience. I sincerely hope this wasn't the last we've seen of the stars, directors, agents, and everybody else who really make this show worth attending, year after year.

Vivid booth
Ah. Whenever the hustle and bustle of the Sunday crowds became too much to handle, you could always count on the Vivid booth for quiet tranquility. A place to get away from it all. We should've just grabbed a few coolers and made this the ADT lounge.
Say now...

My AEE 2010 Wrap-up - Pretty Much All the Crap I Left Out of the Other Reports
I'm not sure why I waited a whole week to write this up, but whatever. It's given me an opportunity to read the thoughts of other ADT members who also attended, so that'll hopefully prevent me from regurgitating what has already been said.
First and foremost, I would like to extend a big "HELLO!" to all of the ADT folks I met last weekend. You've all become as big a reason for me to attend as the performers and industry folks are. Did that sentence make any sense? Bygones. I finally had the pleasure of meeting mindee (who I probably ran into more than anybody else), vegasmonkeyman (love your pics, dude), Dr. Nasty (I honestly mistook you for a performer at first; you sure you haven't dabbled?), JennaRulez2006 (continuing my streak of absurdly friendly Canadians), mrbluelouboyle (sorry we didn't chat more), and, of course, Shylock (can't believe we never properly met before this year). In addition, I once again ran into bono-ONE (I'll admit you had me going for a second there with that "legitimate press" crack), morbidthoughts (we should actually talk someday; please don't let my sobriety get in the way), maltedecker (whose photo thread I anxiously await), jchennav (5 pounds?!), and Gentleman Jon (we should've hung out more; thanks for the t-shirt!). If I left anybody out (and I'm sure I did), my apologies. I'll probably wake up in a pool of sweat one of these nights and have total recall.
So yeah, there were far fewer big studio booths this year. This bothered me for about, oh I'd say, 30 minutes. In the end, it's the people that matter, and I still got to greet and schmooze with about 85-90% of the girls I was hoping would appear at the show. I did miss favorites like Gianna Michaels, Rachel Roxxx, and Ashli Orion, to name a few. And I'm still feeling the void left by Roxy DeVille's departure last year. But there were still more girls and folks than I could hope to properly meet in any given day. If the same number of performers show up next year, I could care less if the show continues to get smaller.
In hindsight, I gotta admit I'm not too happy with the photos I took this year. I know I defended the choice earlier, but I now admit I should've just stuck with auto white balance for the whole show. Flash WB has caused me occasional grief in the past, and I thought I knew when it was and wasn't a good idea. But I've never been as consistently disappointed with my photos as I was this year. Good grief, I must've been seriously color blind every night when I uploaded the shots to my laptop. Making that mistake on Day 1 was unfortunate. Continuing to do so for the entire weekend was a bonafide fuck-up, no doubt about it.
As the show drew to a close on Sunday afternoon (seriously, 4 PM is barely evening), I was suprised to find myself feeling a little sad. In previous years, I was usually exhausted and relieved it was all over. But things were different this year. I made a lot of connections with fans and performers alike in 2009, and this show sorta brought it all together. By the end of it, I was actively hunting down my faves - not for a photo or anything like that, but just to say goodbye. And maybe a hug. Yeah, definitely a hug. As much as I constantly say that I have a love/hate relationship with Vegas and AEE, I like to think I'm starting to fall a little more into the love camp.
Until next time, folks!

Yes, we should have, I agree. And the T-shirt was nothing. I don't need two AEE T-shirts. I doubt I'll even wear the one that often. And I have no idea what I'll do with my size medium Brazzers T-shirt. A medium will be plenty tight on me, I haven't ever joined Brazzers yet, and I wasn't even trying to get the shirt. I was in the Saturday Jenna Haze line, minding my own business, and I had finally gotten close enough to the front that I could lean against the Alektra Blue Realdoll display case a little, as the JH line snaked right past that case. Then, BAM! a knotted up T-shirt hit the lexan, startling me, and fell right into my arms. There's what the Elegant Angel booth needs next year, display cases on wheels with $5.5K sex toys inside, that yahoos who really want a T-shirt or ballcap can wheel around as their own personal backstops. Just to make that line more interesting.

I completely agree with what you....Ive been going for a few years now and the last two Ive stayed till the last day and couldn't believe Vivid's non-presense...a shame to since they seem to be losing girls left and right...and once again the love ladies at the Elegant and Evil Angel booths deserve applause for the hard work and dedication they showed on the final day...I myself wouldn't mind it going to trade only but as a fan that would suck...but since they're jacking up prices but offering less maybe fans should give them the bird...
