Just got back from Vegas and the AEE. This is my third time going to a show like the Adult Entertainment Expo and it always has bemused me that I'll see a gay-themed booth, with a couple guys (performers or booth dudes) there standing around, but no one stops by. Or... maybe it's more accurate to say barely anyone stops by.

I understand that this show is pretty much exclusively attended by porn-viewin', hetero males and females, but it's kinda sad that there isn't much attention being paid to this other genre. Also, while I only had a few hours to browse the show, I didn't see some of the more "major" gay porn companies. Private had booklets with their Private man line. A few smaller distributors had booths with some stuff.

But is there a show like this that attracts a more enthused gay crowd? Or why do you think this other segment of the industry doesn't get much attention at these events? (Or, am I totally wrong about that?).

hi izer,

I just got back from the AEE tonight. Were you at the ADT party too? I didn't see you there.

Anyway, yeah, the gay studio turnout was rather depressing. There weren't alot of people stopping by the gay booths, but that may have had more to do with the fact that those manning the booths seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves then even bothering saying hi when someone did stop to look at their (mainly) crappy little brochures.

I did enjoy it anyway, (I can only imagine how much fun it would have been had I been straight), and it was great to meet the ADT regulars at Steph and Drew's party.

I'll post what few pictures I took and write up somethin a little more detailed a in a few days.

No, I wasn't able to go to the ADT party (maybe next time!). I was only in Vegas for a few hours during the day on Friday. AEE was really fun though. I'll look forward to seein' your pictures from the ADT party.

This was my first year at the AEE. Pretty amazing, but not enough gay representation. Is there anything comparable to this for the gay adult market?

Damn! How did I miss this?! Actually I wouldn't have been able to attend anyway but it would've been great to party with you guys! It would have been fun meeting you all...live and in the "flesh"! lol

Anyway.....with all the mention of expos etc. I finally put up a few pics I took at the "Gay Erotic Expo"....sorry I don't have more but it was just too hard trying too carry everything, it got crowded, etc.
I'm really looking forward to next year though if they keep on doing it....

I'm going to start a new thread to with the link....
