As for fans, it is something that I think every fan should do once. If you really love porn and pornstars, its worth it. It would be more worth it if you can get a badge from someone in the industry and get access when the rest of the fans arent there. Its more relaxed and you will have an easier time meeting whomever you want to meet.
As for meeting people, just hang at the Circle Bar and you will get to meet a lot of the people from the industry. Everyone from directors to pornstars to company owners hang out around the Circle Bar before hitting the invite only parties.
As for the awards show, Vanessa and I go each year, do a little walking around just to see everyone, stay for the opening act and head out for dinner. I really cant sit through the awards show. But thats me. Perhaps you might enjoy the acceptance speech for the Best Anal Scene - Film.
