was they looking at porn for "research"? But then have the nerve to talk shit about the people who post on here? LOL Most likely some men's rights or bro podcast, they still look at porn but just talking about "porn addiction" for viewers
And illegal in numerous jurisdictions. I do not understand the allure of creating AI porn with non-porn performers. It's not them performing so I fail to see the point or attraction.
I'm not sure if I get it: you have fantasies about women, like pornstars (I guess that's why you're here) but not celebrities? Aren't pornstars celebrities too?

No, because I actually get women in IRL. Also, some of these celebrities have done nude scenes, so I can easily see them naked. I don't need A.I. to see them naked. Pornstars make porn so you can see them naked and fuck. That's the point of porn, you know
Your comment looks like a sequence of non sequitur stuff onestly. I'm struggling to see any connection between the fact that you have sex in real life with the fact that you're not having fantasies about women. If nothing else, it sounds like you want to have sex with women not because you fancied them before but because you're just forced to by something.

I look forward to the future of AI porn with interest. When a medium gives me the opportunity to realize my own fantasies, it piques my attention. Yes, they won't be real people. But I don't care about that. Charlie Hunman isn't Ed Gein either, and yet I'm still going to watch the new season of Monsters. As long as a fantasy is well realized and seems real to me, that's perfectly fine.
Whatever anyone's opinion about AI-porn, either pro or con, it's coming whether you like it or not. God only knows where we'll be five or ten years from now.
my comment where I'm saying that your comment makes zero sense? The sense was that your previous comment doesn't make sense, it wasn't hard to understand.

However, its fingerprint is already enormous, whether in entertainment media or everyday life. IRL porn will certainly not disappear completely, but it could increasingly fade into the background.
Wondering why there isn't a porncompany jumping into A.I. porn. There are so much possiblities. So much awesome realistic stuff can be found nowadays but still no porn.

I think the porn industry is run by people who have been in the business for 20, 30, or 40 years. They probably aren't open to such major changes. If AI porn is going to take off, it will be driven by people or companies outside the porn industry.
^Don't they say porn is always one of the first industries to innovate with new technology? It's always a pioneer when it comes to innovation; I assume it'll be no different with AI.

Private individuals are making a fortune with AI content on Patreon, while the porn industry probably doesn't even have a clue what possibilities AI offers.
Nor is it a case of gradual improvement, such as better camera technology or a shift in the medium-like the transition from VHS to DVD. It is a complete transformation and a replacement.
It'll be interesting to see whether AI can create material that will match the 'real thing'. You can already see on Twitter, photo-realistic images of the most perfect and beautiful women imaginable, that were created by AI. Jump forward a few years; will AI be able to create videos featuring these perfect goddesses? Eventually, I would have thought so. But will we miss the indefinable magic that genuine human performers possess? If not, a lot of porn-stars will lose their jobs.

After all, you're not obligated to portray public figures. Fictional characters do not violate copyright law. That said, I don't believe in AI Studio Porn, because then you'd just be buying into someone else's same old fantasies again.
A concrete example: I haven't watched a Jules Jordan video in years because I'm sick and tired of seeing a 50-something Jules Jordan-who, in my opinion, doesn't fit the image of a performer-in every scene. What would happen if JJV produced AI porn? He'd probably keep casting himself in every scene. Where would the creative freedom be in that? AI porn is about to take off-but in your own living room. Free from the same old fantasies, by the same old people.
AI isn't quite there yet, but give it another year. When Gutenberg invented the printing press, one of the first successful ventures was PORN. Ditto photography, motion pictures, computers, the internet. So it stands to reason AI porn will be huge. Here's the dividing line between the "Love its" and the "Hate its": Are you here simply to watch hot female bodies getting nailed? Then you'll likely love the AI. But are you a fan of the actual PERSON? Interested in where she was born, what she enjoys doing out of bed or what her favorite color is? Then AI probably isn't your thing.
Tnx for all the responses but I really would like to read the views from a porn-insider.... anyone from the industry reading this and can tell us about the what the industry is doing, experimenting or preparing?
"AI isn't just a tool; it's a total pipeline reset. No more 'human issues,' just pure, high-speed execution-from face swaps to complex staging.
If The Fifth Element teased the idea of virtual intimacy, we're now building the Ready Player One infrastructure. The future isn't just about seeing; it's about the equipment that makes it real.
I think that what most people want from AI porn are acts that real porn can't deliver: Retired porn star doing things they never did on screen (anal, watersports, scat, lesbian sex for women who only did B/G, gay sex for straight men), celebrities doing porn, cis performers as trans, and especially illegal sex acts, like incest and sex with minors. Some of this would be illegal to distribute, but users could create it for their own use.
semi related, but the fact that I can bring a video with the quality of pic 1 to a video the quality of pic 2 is the greatest thing to come from AI:
This is from InterracialPass's Black Cock Greed starring Alexa Grace, Rico Strong and Prince Yahshua. The original, aka pic 1, is what I bought from AdultEmpire at 1080p. This is, imo, the best quality you can download from online. They have a 4k version on their website which is actually considerably worse.
The 2nd pic has been downscaled to 1080p, but I actually upscaled it to 288 hex 1620 using Topaz Video's newest Starlight Precise model.
The original video from all their websites is a curious case, because they have promo screencaps which are of a much higher quality, but somehow the video doesn't match the screencap's quality. see below screencap for example:
Yep, that previous one may not have been a great example, since it is post-HD era, but the videos uploaded online for sales are just of terrible compressed quality. here's a much better example, of Charmane Star from Peter North's POV 12 from 2006. Original video is 480p (64 hex 480). Upscaled is 192 hex 1440.
This week I saw my first complete and realistic AI pornscene. Most of the AI stuff up till now is just 10 to 20 seconds. This one lasted 11 minutes. Not only realistic video. The audio also is top notch.
I don't know the maker of this but the beginning of the clip says ONC XXX
I think the regular mainstream porncompanies are sleeping.
Some screenshots
[mod edit: sorry but we're saying no AI pics for now]

I see AI scenes being released all the time on pornbox.com . not sure if that's where the other poster saw it. I haven't watched any of them to judge the quality of it.

Why would the porn industry invest here? AI porn is all about your own imagination and creativity. Why should I buy the same old boring fantasy from a porn director when I can make it myself?
I agree with you. Eventually you can make your own AI porn. But at this moment 20 second gifs take time to make. At this moment a complete 30 minute scene can only be done with professional AI tools.
Lol no. I am a software developer, not in AI but I do follow up with the AI industry since it directly impacts me.
Basic context for non tech people 1. Consumer GPUs are nowhere near enterprise ones, for obvious reasons. The quality of porn images that make you go "WTF, this shit is so cool" can't be done casually or feasibly consistently on a consumer GPU. You need the powerful enterprise ones (which you can rent for cheap, like 1-2$ an hour). 2. Generative AI is a fair bit of trial and error and iterations- you rarely get a satisfactory, let alone perfect result on the first couple tries. 3. The size of the model determines "how big" the content can be. For example, a 1000 x 1000 pixel image will take a larger model to generate compared to maybe 500 x 500px 4. The models usually scale with pixels (assuming they are structurally the same and vary only in sizes), ie a model trained to generate 1000 x 1000 images is 4 times as large as the one trained to generate 500 x 500 images, not just twice. Videos are just series of coherent images. That means as you continue to increase the length of the video, the model size blows up pretty fast, making video generated exclusive to industry grade GPUs.
That means you have to make 100 is, 20 second clips clips to get a 30 minute video and stitch it together. The problem is, making sure that they are coherent will take a LOT of iterations. I don't have the numbers but at this point you would have burned through so many tokens that you might as well have hired a performer and bypass the tiring process.
As a consumer, you just don't have the time to do it. Maybe if you're a hobbyist, but the average consumer? Definitely not.
Porn is an industry which doesn't shy away from early adoption. If they haven't jumped on cheap easy porn, it probably means it's neither cheap, nor easy.

You don't have to follow the formula set by the porn industry. Just because porn scenes have been around 30 minutes long for decades doesn't mean a scene you create yourself has to be that long too. If I cut out all the boring parts of porn, no scene would last longer than 10 minutes.
AI porn isn't meant to be a dull copy of real porn. You have a fantasy in your head, and you want to bring it to life. Sometimes a short clip or just a few minutes is enough. And then you might already have a new idea for a completely different scenario.
Images can easily be generated on consumer GPUs. it's things like background consistency where it starts falling apart, that cloud-based AI like Gemini, GPT, etc. are really good at. Z-Image Turbo and Z-Image Base can easily be run on a 16GB GPU, takes about 2.5 minutes for a 144 hex 1800 image on ZIB, or like 10-20 seconds on ZIT.
Videos, on the other hand, take a quite a bit of VRAM and without memory optimization "hacks", you won't be able to generate more than 10 seconds, on like a 32GB VRAM GPU. This, like you said, needs professional GPUs.
I can follow your most important point "making video generated is exclusive to industry grade GPUs". I also can follow your "coherent"point.
Still I know that I saw a 11 minute clip that was coherent made by probably a professional in his/her spare time. (unfortunately it is not allowed to post screenshots from ai generated content)
And what about the film indrustry? I read everywhere that Hollywood is scared about A.I. Why would they be scared if, like what you wrote, you might as well have hired a performer and bypass the tiring process.
Another thing: the development of AI is very fast. Remember Will Smith Eating Spaghetti? A year later it looked real. So maybe the tiring process will not be tiring anymore in the near future?
I have zero technical knowledge or skills in this area, but this makes a lot of sense. I've been a collector for decades and I can remember when VHS came along. I was convinced and remain convinced that the uptake of VCRs in the early days was in no small part because of porn. VCRs were expensive. I bought my first one in 1984 at the age of 18. It was expensive. I can assure you that I didn't spend that money so I could record "The Price is Right" or so I could watch "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock." No, I bought it so I could watch porn, and I'm sure many other people did too. I suspect that the rise of DVDs followed the same lines. I recall reading that one of the reasons that Blu-ray didn't catch on is because the porn industry didn't buy in. Why upgrade to see a few mainstream movies in better quality when all I really have a DVD player for is porn?
However, I also suspect we'll hit a tipping point where this will become easy and cheap enough to attract the porn industry. I'm confident that day is coming. I hope that in my lifetime that it doesn't supplant real people in porn, but if it does, I have enough saved that I should be okay.
Can AI turn 80s porn that was made in the VHS era where everything had absolutely terrible color grading into coherent watchable 4k with correct colors without looking overprocessed? So much good shit from the VHS era that is going to waste.
depends on the original quality. i've had fairly good success turning good quality 64 hex 480 resolution videos into higher quality ones (see the charmane star screenshots I posted above). these were done through Topaz Video
I mean enthusiastic people exist everywhere. That's what it means to be cutting edge but cutting edge, by definition doesn't mean it's at all becoming cheaper or more feasible. We "technically" have quantum computers but you don't see it anywhere do something useful because we haven't been able to scale it.
Everybody is scared for different reasons 1. Writers- because producers can ask AI to write scripts and plots. I will give you that we've achieved a lot in the text space. But text is totally different from images. 2. Actors- because vulnerable actors can be asked to sign away rights to their faces and compensated unfairly. Deepfaking is much much easier to achieve than full on generation
Also, will give that one to you. The issue with that argument is at the time we were improving the models which were still under the scope of the available hardware and energy. So we were making both qualitative (by creating models structurally different) and quantitative (by creating the same kinds of models but bigger) strides when we realized that AI had potential. But we have hit a wall since the last year.
Ask any gamer what AI has done to RAM sticks and GPU because big companies are rushing to buy all that they can just to keep up with the hardware requirement.
Now I am not saying that what we are discussing is totally impossible, it's just that unless we make a step change, or find a completely new way (not improvement to the existing tech, something new altogether) to do generative AI, I don't see it happening anytime soon.
But the above is true for literally any technology. Who's to say some scientist won't figure out a way to do cold fusion?
The A.I.-generated videos I have seen have been unconvincing, even disregarding the impossibly voluminous cum shots and disregarding the deep throats on gigantic dicks that ought to protrude out the back of the cocksucker's head. There's something just a bit too glossy about those A.I. images, too slick to be real. No doubt the process will improve, but even so, I am for supporting the real live human beings who share their real live sexual adventures with us.
