I only drink on special ocassions like Xmas, New Year, and others...because I don't wanna spend my money on something that doesnt do me any good or does it? what are the results and/or effects of alcohol during sexual intercourse. I heard that you could last longer while being drunk well not necessary drunk you know and I also heard that you could not get hard if you zipped down a couple of beers.
Alcohol can do both. Basically it dulls your senses so in affect you are less stimulated by whatever lays before you than you otherwise would be. so, if you would have been overstimulated and gone off too quickly it might help, alternately you may find you struggle to keep the little chap to attention as you aren't really taking in everything that is going on so well. I've always found beer makes me pretty useless in bed (I am of course absolutely fucking great the rest of the time) but viagra (or its generic substitutes) is a big boon nowadays - if only they'd had it when I was a teenager or in my early twenties. Still, even chemically enhanced you can end up, if very drunk, with a raging and impressively woody hard-on and the ability to pound away for hours but about as much chance of actually shooting your milky white love-piss as I have of beating Mandingo in a 'how many donuts can you fit on your cock' competition.

Mentally, alcohol lowers inhibitions. However, it is a depressant and it impairs blood flow to the penis. At one level, it may delay ejaculation, but at another level, it may cause erectile dysfunction.
Like any other drug, each person reacts differently in terms of actual feeling, duration of effect, tolerance, side effects, etc.
It should be pointed out that drug use is not recommended because it impairs judgment (you might end up doing dangerous things like have unprotected sex with a stranger) plus the fact that it's usually bad for your body.
Any decent textbook on sexual health covers these topics, so you are strongly urged to visit your local library or bookstore for further information. Such books may also suggest exercises to combat premature ejaculation.
Personally, it is much more fun being totally sober and totally in the moment and in tune with the other person while having sex, rather than being tipsy.
My biggest problem when combining alcohol and sex is the fact that I always, ALWAYS! fall over and can't keep proper balance. So I no longer combine alcohol and sex. So I had to cut one out. I miss it
I don't drink anymore because alcohol got me into trouble chosing sex "partners". LOL For guys, it makes you last longer sometimes but it also frequently can affect you erection. Sometimes getting hard or staying hard is a problem if a guy has too much to drink. Or sometimes you last so long, I'm way over it before you're even done. As Tyler said, the worst part could be who you end up having sex with, but otherwise I find it helpful. As mentioned, you have to be careful not to over-do it, but if you're like me, a normally shy guy, the booze will help you loosen up and say things that you want to do but don't have the courage to speak of sober... then again that could be a bad thing depending on your particular fetish, lol.
Now I know that this question was directed at the guys in here, but.......since this just happened to me I thought it might be relavent/interesting as well. I had some friends over last week and I had a couple of drinks. I was no where near drunk so when everyone went home I got out my fave toy and thought I would have a little fun......OR NOT!!!! 45 minutes, three sets of batteries and 4 toys later, I finally had to admit defeat. I have never had that happen before!!! Usually I can go from 0 - 60 in about 3 minutes, roll over and have a great sleep. The alcohol was letting me get incredibly aroused.....with no release in sight...lol I learned a lesson....the hard way!!!
When drunk, you are dehydrated so over exherting yourself during sex can wind you. I had had to stop to keep from puking once because I exhausted myself.
I think the two go together when you speak of the process of obtaining sex with a (potential) partner; it kind of set the mood - lets alot of the barriers to the seduction weaken. That why in bars and nightclubs both parties have a few drinks to sort of loosen up; become more talkative and see each other in a more flavorable light and take a suggestion much easier to accept! I think that has been happening for a couple of thousand years - Alcohol then Sex.
