Hey folks, I'm coming out of posting retirement to show you something. I just received an interesting yet depressing message on my Allie Sin fans Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllieSin/).
This is from a poster claiming to be Allie Sin:
"ok look this is allie. my boyfriend has been a member of this group for some time monitoring it and frankly im tired of this . who ever the fuck you are "stalking" me at my work you need to stop i quit doing porn for a reason i want nothing to do with you "fans" or people that like me. i dont care, all i want is a normal life i dont need people posting days when i work or how much a dance is, half of the information you have posted on your facts of allie section is wrong you are portraying false information about me , so please get off of your obsession and move on with your life.
"not to mention the photos and videos you have listed here have been stolen i have signed model releases to the companies that produced them , i did not give you permission to use them and if this site is not down in the next 2 days i will be contacting yahoo to have it removed .
"so please move on go find a girl that likes the attention, id like to be able to go to work and not have my schedule posted on the internet or what i was wearing or if i have a new tattoo. . . .let me live my life and get on with yours PLEASE!"
And this appeared a little later on another Yahoo Group by Allie's former management:
"she knows she has a lot of fans but is not inteterested that is past her and wants to keep her pron career in the past and move on. She is happy where she is right now and is very unhappy with the yahoo group that is up about her and if i knew who posted it i would ask them to remove it for her."
The person claiming to be Allie posted under the e-mail address of a guy named Jeremiah Ruff. He's the singer of a now defunct Tampa, Florida hardcore band called The Calm. So there's a good chance that really is Allie.
I believe what set her off is that I posted information about Mons Venus, the strip club where Allie currently works as a lapdancer. Obviously, she doesn't like the idea of members of the group going to the club to see her.
Let me admit that she's right about the pics and videos. Me and the group's members (now over 1900) got a little crazy posting free stuff. It's no big deal to me to take all that down. But it's clear she's uncomfortable with the group, period.
I have to say I'm disappointed to learn she's so unhappy with her porn past and would like to disown it completely. I understand and sympathize that she may regret the things she's done. But I also think that she chose to do those things. She knew what she was getting into by doing porn. She has to live with it now.
On the other hand, there have been a few messages to the group that bother me. People just begging for copyrighted material, someone asking for personal stuff like her high school yearbook photo.
What do you think? Should I respect Allie's wishes, shut it all down? I don't even know if I can watch her stuff in the same way, knowing that she's now so ashamed of it.

i agree. although i really like allie's look and body, she never gave a performance where she seemed to be enjoying herself. i am surprised to hear that she works at the mons. not exactly keeping a low profile by working there. not exactly my favorite strip club in the u.s., but it sure gets a lot of business and i am sure that even without the yahoo group alot of guys have probably heard that she works there.

whether or not you want to continue the yahoo group site is entirely up to you. Some of those files may have to be removed if the original owners take action of course.
It's entirely a judgment call....if you want to respect her wishes than shutting it down is the logical option. Keeping it running is really an act of spite at this point if all her "regret" is genuine.
A lot of fan groups on yahoo are run by the str themself. The fact that there are fans supposedly "stalking her at work" and asking for personal stuff like high school photos would be more than enough reason for her to shut it down if she were running it.

If she doesn't want it up, and you're already uncomfortable about it, why not take it down? There are plenty of porn stars that curry their fans favor and even drop into their forums. Allie is obviously miserable about this. Cut her a break.
Well, if it stays up and Allie complains, Yahoo could well close it, but if Allie's done making movies, it's gonna peter out within a few months anyway. What will there be to talk about?

I understand they cooled it down with the last mayoral election. One of the ones after 2000 anyways. Some candidate running on a morals thing, the police started enforcing distance between customer and stripper. I originally intended the group to be a tribute to Allie. Preserving the porn immortality that Soul Sphere mentions. It's not really a discussion place, it's more an info center.
