AM I THE ONLY ONE who when buying porn dvds from major web sites like sexdvd.com, adultdvdempire, adultdvdfree, adultdvdpacific and adultvideouniverse I receive about 10% to 20% dvds(1 or 2 discs in every 10 dvds which includes box sets)that have a defect? It reached the point with 1 of the sites who was fed up of me returning dvds that he told me he only gets 1% of returns and with me its more than 10% and he actually warned me that if it continues he will discontinue me as a customer and I told him I had the right to return defective discs. Imagine that, hes the one "fed up" after I pay top dollar and have to go through all this and suffer.
I own 3 dvd players, a late 90's Kenwood, a 3 year old Toshiba HDMI and a fairly new Toshiba of same brand without the hdmi. The defects show the most worse through my Kenwood as they dont even load on it, its semi worse on my Toshiba HDMI and the least worse on my newer Toshiba. Dvds that dont load on my Kenwood will load on my other 2 but the video may either play, pause and break up on my Toshiba hdmi or just play and pause on my newer Toshiba.Or when the defects are really bad, the video plays, pauses and breaks apart on all 3 of my dvd players, always worse on my Kenwood.
I had some dvds with the strangest of defects ever. 1 black lesbian dvd seemed to have a different 1 minute recording of a different porn video which was an anal porn scene that cut into a lesbian scene and lasted for 1 minute then after that the lesbian scene continued perfectly but the 1 minute was lost, and only during this 1 minute cut of the anal scene the video picture was extremely defective where the dvd was playing and pausing and breaking apart agressively. I also get this 1 minute defect in other porn dvds but not with a different porn video cutting in, just for no reason the dvd would play and pause and break up extremely during the 1 minute with NO visible marks or scratches on the playing surface, not even in the slightest, a perfectly clean looking disc except for whats hiding within.
I have a very large normal dvd movie collection with NOT ONE defect with any of the discs when playing on all 3 of my dvd players, they always play perfect but not when they are porn dvds.WHATS UP? How often do you receive defective porn dvds? Am I the only one on Earth who recieves 10% to 20% defective porn dvds, why?
******With the right know how, technology and equipment is it possible for someone to implant defects within the disc where its not visible? If not then how do you explain im the only one who gets 10 to 20% defects?

Well, 1% of less is about right for defective DVD's, that's what we see in our mailorder business, so 10-20% is extremely high.

yea, so why is it only happening to me, like its being done on purpose or something. If what you're telling me is true that almost all people who buy porn dvds only receive 1% defective dvds THEN WHY DO I RECEIVE 10 TO 20% DEFECTIVE DVDS IN EACH ORDER(1 or 2 discs in every 10 discs which includes box sets)? W T F IS GOING ON? AM I BEING TARGETED HERE? IS IT POSSIBLE THAT A CANADIAN MAIL CARRIOR SERVICE that receives the larger parcel boxes that holds 5 to 10 dvds and knows my name on the box OR OTHER HAS THE ABILITY TO make defects appear within the discs where its non-visible? And this is not a crazy question to ask because based on what you told me, im the only one on earth that receives 1 or 2 defective porn dvds in every 10 I buy, WHY? And yes, these defects are showing up on my dads Toshiba dvd player as well as I tested many already.

Heres just an example of some of the defects I received the past 2 to 4 months-(ive been getting into black female porn the past few years)-
Bought from adultdvdpacific-
Black lesbian lust 4 disc set-2 of the discs the video plays and pauses throughout last 2 scenes.
Bought from Adultdvdempire-
Sista collectors 5 dics set-sista 22 to 26- Sista 23 disc last 2 scenes video breaks up.
Bought from Adultdvdfree(or sexdvd)-
Bangin' black pussy part 2-4 discs Holla black girlz 5 to 8- Holla black girlz disc 6- 1 minute WEIRD defect from 52:26 to 53:30 where a anal porn scene from a different video cuts in and the video pauses plays and video breaking up in extreme./ Holla black girlz 7-135:24 to 136:26 1 minute where the video pauses, plays with extreme video breaking up.
Bought from Adultdvdempire-
Hardcore squirting superstars 5 pack- Watch me squirt dvd in 1 scene video breaks up for 5 minutes but this was due to a different defect. I noticed on the disc a small silver disc like shred stuck onto the playing disc surface. I used my thumb to remove it and it left a deep marking that caused this defect for 5 minutes.
Bought from Sexdvd-
Fucking shemales 4- The last 2 scenes the video pauses and plays throughout.
Bought from Adultdvdpacific-
Bangin black pussy party 4 Holla black girlz 13 to 16-Holla black girlz 13 and 16 dvds the video breaks up throughout 1 or 2 scenes/ the other 2 dvds the video pauses and plays last few scenes.
Bought from one of those sites- Shemale porn dvd that actually had a visible defect-YEP a poked hole through the back of the dvd case that caused damage to the disc where some minutes the dvd Is unplayable.
AM I BEING A TARGET HERE BY WHOM FOR WHAT AND WHY?????? This is not happening with just 1 adult dvd site, this is happening with all those I mentioned. Usually these defective dvds are found within the bigger parcel boxes that are shipped that hold 5 to 10 dvds that are shipped to my house by THE SAME mail carrior(as if he was purposely sent)in a truck or white van instead of the normal mailwoman that walks on the sidewalk. I know all this sounds so far fetched but how do you explain the on-going defective dvds im receiving?
******With the right know how, technology and equipment is it possible for someone to implant defects within the disc where its not visible? If not then how do you explain im the only one who gets 10 to 20% defects?

Why would the Canadian mail service target you?????
The first thing I would think of is that possibly your lasers are off in your players since you run so high.

Why? Because this is an on going problem with the many porn dvds I bought through the years and the fact that porn customers only receive 1% of defective porn dvds where I about 15% the past 3 years. THATS WHY. ITS NOT MY DVD PLAYERS as this happens on my dads and brothers as well.If my 3 dvd players were screwed then how do you explain they play my 400 plus normal movie dvd collection with 100% perfection? Not 1 defect ever has occured with the 400 dvd movies only porn dvds. WTF IS GOING ON.
2nd reason, with the canadian government/secret government or mail service anything is possible. Maby they see that I have an addiction to porn or maby im one of their "special targets" based on unrightful suspicion me being a loner and homebound to a great extent, you heard of gang stalking and electronic harrassment against certain individuals havent you,it does exist and this could be a different branch of such but when such indiividuals are innocent and never broke the law we become the victims. Maby the delivery person thinks im mentally ill and wants to avoid my home, who knows it can be anything when I dont have an addiction and not mentally ill or break the law.
I buy so many porn dvds to discover the hottest camera angles as i mark them down on paper with time it occurs and only return to the segments that have my highest rating between 900 to 1000 and i forget the rest, so in 1 dvd I will only use like a 30 second or 2 minute segment on a-b repeat loop and thats it until the job is done and then another day 3 its porn again, then day 9 its 69 with my service female.Thats not an addiction.
My question still remains, someone please answer it-
******With the right know how, technology and equipment is it possible for someone to implant defects within the disc where its not visible? If not then how do you explain im the only one who gets 10 to 20% defects?
And what if these defective dvds i own can be proven that they were purposely screwed than what?

To answer your question, no I don't know of any way to do that and I don't think it's possible. The center of the disc is an image. To get at it you would have to break the seal, which would cause the center to degrade which would be obvious. Look up disc rot to see what it looks like as it was an issue with very early DVDs.
I can't explain your defective rate. I have never had a rate like that.

They are definitely targeting you! The guys in the shipping dept get together nightly and decide who is going to send you defective dvds next.

There are actually defective DVDs that I'm pretty sure the manufacturer and/or seller know are defective but sell anyway. Sometimes on the site I buy from I'll see a fairly new DVD selling a really low price. I'll buy it and when I try to play it I'll discover that it won't play in certain DVD players. I have 4 DVD players of varying ages and models and many times those DVDs being sold at the unsually low price won't play in some or will only play in one of my DVD players.
My latest example of this is I bought a fairly recent release new Blu-Ray/DVD combo from DIGITAL PLAYGROUND for about 8 bucks. When I tried playing the Blu-Ray it wouldn't even load in my Blu-Ray player but the DVD copy played fine. I didn't send it back for an exchange because of the price and I'm fine watching the DVD version. I'm guessing there was a glitch when they manufactured them that caused this and I'd be willing to bet that there are some Blu-Ray players that would play that disc with no problem but other like mine that can't. I think the manufacture and the seller know this and sell those DVDs at a reduced price taking the chance that the buyers will have a player that can play them. I've seen this happen again and again with unusally low priced DVDs. 9 times out of 10 at least one of my players will be able to play it and I don't bother sending it back.

Well they certainly SHOULD NEVER sell defective dvds knowingly even if its at a special price or in a box set UNLESS they indicate on the damn product that such dvd will not play on all dvd players. SO WHAT PERCENTAGE of defective porn dvds do you receive that may not play properly on any of your 4 dvd players?
It still seems im the only one that gets 15% screwed discs. Although the less serious defects I get do play perfectly on my PS3, but the more serious defects do not so i'd say out of the 15% defects, maby 8% are serious and 7% are not if im correct.I didnt buy my ps3 to play porno.
WHEN will come the day we can buy a "smart" dvd player that can detect with precision if a disc has a defect and precisely where its located on the disc including how the defect was caused.(everyone type this word here- "idea").

It's hard to say...I haven't come across that many defective discs in awhile or possibly since I play most of the stuff I buy now on my newer Blu-ray that seems able to play almost anything I don't realize there's anything wrong. The newer more expensive players seem to be able to play more formats and discs that gave me trouble on older/cheaper players. I only have one Blu-ray player but I'd be willing to bet that DP Blu-ray that I couldn't get to play on my player would work fine on a different model. That's just the way it seems to work. It's been less of an issue in the past few years. I never have issues with mainstream Hollywood movies but it seems some of the porn stuff isn't up to those standards and some are cheaply done.
Thinking back on it...I think it's been years since I've bought a DVD that wouldn't play on any of my players. This was more of a problem during the earlier days of DVD players and I didn't have different ones to try playing a disc on.

Never.
Let's start with how the defect was caused. You expect the machine to tell you that Employee Number 57 accidentally dropped the disc when carrying a stack causing a scratch that rendered a sector unplayable? This technology will never exist.
If it has a defect it won't play properly. Of course there are other reasons why the disc might not play. I have an older DVD play in one room that indicates that some discs aren't DVDs, when they are. They play fine in the newer players. I would rank that as a DVD player issue, not the disc. If it is playable in a DVD player, how can you be sure it is defective and not the player that is the issue. Apparently 7% of your "defective discs" play fine on at least one player, leading me to question exactly how defective they really are. So if you PS3 is the "smart DVD player" and can with precision if there are defects and it finds none and plays the disc fine and it doesn't play in your other players, exactly how does this help you?
Precise location in what terms? Track 3 23 minutes in or sector 25 through 28? What exactly would this even mean to you?

Isnt it true that the dvd players and computer drives that play defective dvds perfectly without showing the defects, the video quality is not as sharp compared to the dvd players that do show the defects? I noticed this myself when comparing the video quality of dvds played on my ps3 compared to my dvd players and they are just a bit sharper(but just slightly)on my dvd players that show the defects as if the laser shows every intricate detail in full whereas the ps3 kind of "covers" the flaws thus slight intricate details are lost.
I keep on getting 8% badly defective discs, and out of my about 500 porn disc collection 40 or more discs have a bad defect that shows up even on my ps3. If I had such a computerised machine it will indicate with precision what kind of defect and where its located and how it was caused and give me a print out including the dvd title so when I send email number 41 to the adult sites I WILL HAVE PROOF that "HEY" you are the ones shipping me the bad discs so some manager on that site wont be threatening me that he'll discontinue me as a customer if i keep on returning the discs when im the innocent victim who has to suffer through all this....2012 dvd technology or is it 1930?????(i know they never made dvds in 1930).
I ALSO notice that many of the defects always occur on the last 2 scenes. Does that mean anything?

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this. If you have a number of different discs from the same studio that play fine on all players then you suddenly get one that for whatever reason doesn't play on certain ones that would indicate that something is different (wrong) with that disc making it "defective". If you have a player that has never been able to play discs from a particular studio then it's possible it could be the player. There have been times in the past when I sent a DVD back for an exchange and the exchange disc played fine. There have been times I got an exchange and the exchange disc wouldn't play either even though all the other discs from that company play with no problem...but a year or so later I put that "bad" disc in a new player and it plays fine.
I think there are defective discs but certain players aren't hampered by the defects and are still able to play the disc. The question becaomes "If you can play it, can it be truly "defective"?" I'd say the answer is yes. I think there are different levels of defects that some players just have problems with.

It really shouldn't be a debate. One online company I used to buy porn DVDs from asked you to send a note telling at what point in the movie the glitch occured so they would have to waste time going through the whole movie. That means they were doing what they were supposed to and checking the disc. If they checked the disc and it plays fine in their player I don't think they should have to exchange it and it's your problem. You shouldn't expect them to try it in a bunch of different players. If it doesn't play properly they should check out the exchange disc they're about to send you to make sure it's just a one disc thing and send them back to the manufacturer if the next disc does the same thing.
I bought a disc from a local porn shop and for some reason the dics wouldn't play one of the scenes/chapters even though the rest of the scenes were fine. They popped it in their player and they couldn't get that scene to play either and gave me an exchange. Another time I had a disc that wouldn't play at all on my player but when i took it to them it played fine on theirs. They offered to exchange it but I said no and kept it. I just wanted to know if it was playable. The next DVD player I bought played the disc just fine.
Long story short...if you send a bad disc back they should check it out. If the discs are bad they should want to know and avoid sending them to their customers. If a person keeps sending discs back that they have no problem playing then they're right in telling that customer to stop sending them back because they play fine when they play them. In the old days of VHS tapes it could be more of a pain to check out a tape to see if there's something wrong but in the disc age of today it only takes a couple of minutes if that to check.

And this is where you are WRONG. ALL dvd players ARE MEANT to play dvds and if there are some dvds with a newer technology or just a bit screwed up and the on-line store does NOT indicate on the product or description that such a dvd may not play properly on ALL dvd models in Canada or USA,that on-line store MUST be held responsible in a full replacement of the same title AT THE STORE'S OWN EXPENSE which includes the customer's return shipping cost so that the customer who became a victim of receiving a junk dvd(if it doesnt play properly on your dvd player its junk)will receive a replacement of the same title THAT WILL play properly on his particular dvd model or a FULL REFUND or credit.
This can be compared to getting gas for your car. Lets say there are 10 varieties of gas types for cars but some of them will not work properly for certain cars made in Canada and USA. And some guy(me) fills up his tank with gas # 6 and then my car won't start. Its common sense that the gas station must be held 100% responsible for failing to put a sign over that gas type indicating that this particular gas may not work for your car. Get it? Same applies to porn dvds.

Considering that DVD technology has changed so much since the first generation players came out and the fact there are still first generation players in peoples homes, what you are asking for would end up with a disclaimer on every single DVD that states there is no guarantee it will play on your equipment.
And again, how do you prove to the store it's the DVD and not your lasers that are dirty, misaligned, etc? I am starting to understand why customer service managers are threatening to discontinue you as a customer if two out of every ten DVDs are being returned and you are making all these wild claims to them.
At this point if I were you, I would stop purchasing DVDs since obviously there is some sort of problem going on and switch to VOD/Streaming/Download stores for your purchases. That way you don't have to worry about DVDs ever again.

well i got so many "gulp" 500 porn dvds(300 female/200 shemale)with hundreds and hundreds(and this doesnt even count my playtime pantyhose/panty dvds)of "pop scenes" with my rating of 800 and up that if I continue buying porno, I will never have a chance to enjoy what I have. Like in videogames.
But im 100% correct in saying if a dvd plays screwed on your particular dvd model(and I have 3) then the store must be held responsible for a replacement, refund or credit NO MATTER how often a customer returns them even if its like a billion times(no joke). IF THE CUSTOMER CAN PROVE the discs are screwed on a particular model then the store must be held responsible.Thats why i was asking for a "defect detecter" dvd player.
Maby I need a witness.I'll mail you each screwed porn disc I get/got(40 and counting and this doesnt include the many that play normal on my ps3 but screw on my dvd players) and you test it on ALL possible dvd models and tell me if theyre screwed on some of them, then forward an email for me to the adult site that made me a victim to this torture and I may even forget the possible law suit i'll launch against such adult dvd sites that turned me into a victim.
YEP, and all the while my old 1998 Kenwood model still plays all my normal dvd movie collection 100% perfectly, like 400 of them with NEVER a screw up. WHY are porn dvds being discriminated against by the big manufactures i'll never know. They always play perfectly but not when its porno.

No, there are DVDs that first generation players can't handle. Not due to defects but do to changes within the technology. Do you remember back when DVDs were single sided, single layered discs with just the movie? To guarantee that it would play on every player, we would go back to then. Is that what you really want?
Again, at this point I would go to VOD or since you are so big on your "defect detector" DVD player and since it is no longer the 1930s and so easy to make one I suggest you invent the "defect detector" DVD player.

Yes do that, forward them to people to play on ALL possible DVD players. That process alone ought to extend past the guarantee period given how many makes and models have been created over the years. And don't forget that includes every possible DVD-ROM drive for computers too. However I'm not sure where you will find someone who has ALL possible DVD players. In fact, I think it might be better for you to do this. Especially since you plan to use it in your lawsuit. So first you need to buy every single make and model DVD player ever made and released. Good luck finding the old DIVX players since I'm not sure where the hell you will find them anymore. Don't forget to add the part about the Canadian mail service possibly purposely messing with your discs, that should help your lawsuit.
And exactly how long did it just take you to test every single one of your 400 discs, including all extras, in your Kenwood? If each of the 400 discs had only an hour and a half movie and a half hour of extras, that would be 33 and 1/3 days of non-stop watching to test them all to say they all worked perfectly.

You should talk to Dom Dome, who seems to be having the same problem as you. And is also in Canada. And is also having the Canadian post office messing with him. Who also records down his favorite scenes with a pen and paper to use. And sounds just like you. Is this you? Having two user names here is against the forum requirements. And Dom Dome was warned about starting multiple threads about this same exact subject and issues.

forget about my 98 Kenwood player. I bought 2 Toshiba dvd players from Futureshop, one with HDMI 3 years ago and other last year of identicle model without HDMI and im very sure futureshop sells these Toshiba models in very large numbers, so why am i the only one who gets 15% defective porn dvds that dont play properly on those 2 models including on my dad's and brother's Toshiba player of same models when the average humanbeing gets only 1% of screwed discs???????

See that proves ive been having this defective porn dvd issue for years, yep thats me as well as doom dom("gulp"), domram12("oops") on other sites but I NEVER intended to have and use 2 usernames on this forum at the same time. Either I was no longer able to log in as dom dome on this site few years ago even after a new password was sent(???) or I forgot I was registered as dom dome on this particalar site that I dont use often so I chosen another username. I kind of forgot exactly why I chosen doug v when in fact i like the name dom dome better.

You used both user names at one point because this name is older than your last post under dom dome. You posted your first post as Doug V on Dec 12 2011 and your last post as Dom Dome on 5/9/2012. I'll submit that name for deactivation and further posts can be continued in this thread since that's where you started talking about it.
