Hookers can be great to work with and they can be a nightmare. As a general rule the trick to having a rewarding experience with hookers is to establish a good relationship with the agent (pimp). If the agent is your buddy then the onus is on the girl to behave, if the girl feels shes on free reign from her agent then its russian roulette how she acts basically depending on her character , potentially if she is the naturally dificult type (as a minority are) she might play up and causes trouble - on the other hand if her nature is good then she should be a joy to work with. Best play safe and have her realise your a buddy of the agent and it behoves her to be good.
For amateur talent go as low as you feel you can depending on how much you want the girl in question.
And dont let them drink or do drugs till youve finished your work - unless you are prepared to deal with the prospect of a drug crazed chick screaming at the top of her lungs and police and hotel staff in attendance , new location required.
