Why must we now resort to getting most of our starlet anal porn from European and Russian actress websites? Five years ago in North America we had the like of anal starlets such as: Aaliyah Jolie, Alana Evans, Allie Sin, Allison Pierce, Anne Howe, Aubrey Addams, Bonnie Heart, Brandi Lyons, Brianna Love, Chelsie Rae, Crystal Ray, Jamie Elle, Jenna Haze, Katie Rae, Kelly Kroft We had actresses that we hoped would do anal (and did) but thought they never would, like : Aurora Snow, Gen Padova, Leah Luv, Violet Blue We had straight to anal and all anal wonders like: Allison Wyte, Vanilla Skye, Ria Lynn We had actresses who we thought were too beautiful for porn, yet took it in the ass like superheroes: Deja Daire, Flick Shagwell, Keri Sable, Sasha Grey, Teagan Pressley, Tiffany Rayne We had young looking high school cheerleader types who took anal with a ferocious appetite: Dana Duval, Jeanie Marie Sullivan, Lil Bit More, Liv Wylder, Molly Rome, Paris Showers, Samantha South, Sapphire Rae and Tiffany Holliday And we had the anal starlet titan Kat. Who knows how much anal she has taken for our viewing pleasure. Plus we had these and a TON more, who were everyone else’s favorites also. Now flash forward to 2010. We have these actresses who do anal: Amy Brooke, Missy Stone, and the odd one from Amai Liu. Now I just have to ask the adult film producers this: What’s going on? Why are we not getting new anal starlets like we did before, and why are the Russian and European actresses pumping out anal porn like there is no tomorrow – like we used to be doing? Please do something here and bring back that girl that we all wanted to ass fuck in high school (or, um, college rather) and the massive amount of starlet anal porn we had before. I agree with you. But I have an idea why we're not seeing more starlets doing anal (and I'm kinda just spitballing here, talking out of my ass...which is rather appropriate for this thread). I think there is so much buzz being generated on the 'anal debut' that starlets want to generate a name for themselves doing straight porn, then hit us with the anal debut for bigger bucks. Think about it. You have stars like Asa Akira, Charley Chase, Gracie Glam, all pretty popular while not doing anal. At the same time, some of their fans are dying for an anal scene. Then, when Elegant Angel releases their next Big Wet Asses featuring the next anal newbie, she, her co-stars, EA, everyone rakes in a few more dollars. To me, it makes sense to hold out. Or maybe there is just less interest in anal scenes. Anything's possible.

Not denying there are fewer girls doing anal but there are fewer girls in general anyway. You have left a lot of girls off your list of people currently doing anal. For example Tori Black, Mason Moore, Ashli Orion, Mackenzie Pierce, Dana DeArmond, Bobbi Starr, Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Rebeca Linares, Kelly Divine, Katie St Ives...
Strikes me as odd though. The economy perhaps has something to do with it? 5-10 years ago, Jim Powers, Mark Wood and Micheal Stefano and many others were bringing out several eighteen and anal themed movies each per month. Some of my favourite titles were: The Babysitter, Teacher's Pet, YA Young and Anal, Naughty Little Nymphos, Kelly The Coed, Teenage Peach Fuzz, Teen Perversion, I'm A Big Girl Now, Teenage Anal Princess, Ass Cream Pies, Just Over Eighteen, Teenage Spermaholics, Anal Teen Tryouts, Rated T for Teen, Teens Goin' Wild, Try A Teen... (Etc.) Among many, MANY others. I realize I was exaggerating a little when I said there are three actresses that are doing anal scenes right now (and yes I know Missy retired, sadly, she was my most recent favourite anal starlet), but saying three isn't really far from the the truth. 5-10 years ago if you were to pick up one the the previously mentioned titles above, you would get 3-4 anal scenes per DVD, or all of them if it was specifically a teen anal movie. Now you just don't get that, (or many "teen anal" movies at all anymore- where are many of those titles now) and for me that is a cop out and simply not getting your money's worth. People view porn for fantasy, not for what their wife or girlfriend, or chick from a bar are gonna give them on any given night. I realize that there were actresses, (like Leah Luv, Aubrey Addams, Gen Padova, Violet Blue, Aurora Snow) that held out for anal and were much more popular after. But there were also actresses like Teagan, Sasha Grey, Keri Sable who were anal titans right off the go and look at how popular they were. Also of note at the recent popularity of Amy Brooke. Why is that? There are also those like Lexi Belle and Shawna Lenee (Kara Bare, Kara Minor) who could have been superstars like Teagan, Sasha, and Keri, but would never give porn watchers what they were looking for from them. Porn producers should have no time for stuff like that. What are you even doing in this biz if you are that much a prude. Actresses like Jeanie Marie Sullivan and Chelsie Rae were stunningly gorgeous (when they were making vids) and yet they were anal rock stars. No need for girls that gorgeous to need to (have to) do anal, but they were real porn stars as well. They did it cause they liked the sex and were happy to give their audience a good show. It was also fun to watch nymphs like Paris and Sapphire Rae going to town on the anal and calling for more, much the same as what we have in the recent Amy Brooke. Maybe the producers of American porn are less willing to shell out the extra money for anal. Maybe it has to do with the amount of anal found at a lot of porn websites.
I'm straight by the way. But I've done a lot of anal play. There's nothing scary or painful about it. In fact, it's pretty great. A statement like that is like saying "Perhaps they don't take lightly to giving blowjobs" Nowadays many teens/young adults are doing anal before even vaginal sex for a variety of different reasons. I don't understand the fuss that is made about anal. Maybe it was a big thing in the 80ies to do that on film. But with today's professional performers it's just another sex act, and most experienced porn starlets do it like champs. Anal is mainstream since the 90ies and Euro porn and girls like Angel Long have shown that there are enough actresses who do it just as naturally as vaginal sex. Personally I don't differentiate between American, European, Asian actresses, so I probably never noticed that there was a "shortage" of US actresses doing that. Almost every mainstream dvd release nowadays includes plenty of anal sex (unless you count DAP, which I find kinda scary and is luckily scarce).
I hate rough sex acts and wonder why anal many times has to be associated with rough or degrading sex. Anal sex is highly erotic and very sensual, and very pleasurable when done right (as anything else). If maybe the actors were a little lighter on the actresses at times, maybe we would have more American anal starlets in our porn flicks. I miss the amount of good anal starlet porn we had 5-10 years ago.

I also think we’re in a natural lull as has happed before. It seems as though the DVD market is declining as is web based content. But something will come along and blow up the industry again. I have seen it happen before. The first boom was the VHS tape. That invented the Industry we have today. But tapes came and went. The DVD started the next wave. Then the mother of all technologies, the internet created a huge boom. Not forgetting the subject of this thread, I think when a new direction for the industry settles in the rates will rise and you will see a new glory era for all aspects of porn. I feel for the girls who had contracts with studios and watched them be voided and now have to compete with everyone for much lower rates.

Maybe its the economy, fewer vids seem to be greenlit overall, and anal (since it costs more) is probably less financially viable in movies that aren't specifically devoted to anal.
What the porn companies really need to do is release their primary format to the web first and then then sell comp disc sets like Teen Core Club does.
