If "The Unit" manages to keep his job on Jersey Shore and also remains out of jail (both are rather slim) than Amia may get more screen time but that has nothing to do with her and everything to do with MTV having no problem in using her porn past to add controversy and increase their ratings. I have no problem in her choices. If "The Situation" was able to make millions from his appearance on the show then "The Unit" should also be able to make decent money from his appearances on the show. [Link]

The show has had enough problems and promoting a pornstar and her boyfriend who was caught with Special K isn't the kind of publicity the show wants. Thus, she's now an "ex-pornstar" and the show doesn't put a spotlight on Amia or the Unit. They appear here and there on the periphery but it'll never be anything more than that because very quickly the "darker" stuff about them will come out and create a furor. [Link]
