Considering Tori Black is basically physically perfect and felt the need to mar herself with that ridiculousness I have to agree. alt girls tend to have the best tattoos,especially Rockabilly girls.
I like Tori's tattoo and everything about Tori for that matter. It's this dark star with interlinked rings, so it gives off vibe of mystery to go along with Tori's appeal as a supermodel that fucks like nothing you've seen before. Besides, I think a single tattoo for identification purposes and to establish a unique identity in the industry is fine and in many cases a good move.

I take it on an individual basis. I like Faye's leg tattoos. I think they're creative and suit her well.

In my opinion, in porn, the ratio of "compliments a girls body" to "makes her ugly" is about 1:99. For every Sophia Santi, there are countless girls whose bodies are just marred by trite crap.
It's no secret I'm probably one of the most anti-tat ADTers. Nonetheless, there are some pornsters with tats I can live with. Honestly, I cannot imagine Skin Diamond without her tats. Savannah Stern is another star who carries her tats well. I guess for me, a girl who looks like she's be right at home on Kink.com is a girl who seems natural with tats. Skin's ink fits very well with her skin tones and the art fits with her personality. Savannah's tats don't stick out like sore thumbs either. Those are the two best exceptions to the rule I can think of.
I hate tattoos as much as anyone but I'm afraid I can't agree. As much as it kills me if the girl is otherwise hot, if that's what she wants, I have no say in it. It would be nice if some of them would get them removed (if possible) but it would have to be their decision. They'd have to want to remove them as badly as they wanted them and not just because I'd like them to.

I'm all for the banning of tattoos for porn chicks. This is almost an epidemic. I have stopped watching about 10 of my favorite pornstars due to their excessive tattooing. I don't get it at all! They were given great genetics to look beautiful and have great bodies and then they cover them in these useless eclectic mess of sloppy and poorly done tattoos. During the pre show at the movies today the one ad for an Ink Shop was calling Tats, "Flesh Art." I'm in the middle of reviewing the XXX parody of Superman and I noticed that Andy San Dimas's tats are all covered with body makeup and not visible at all.

For a private individual sitting at home, yeah, it is their business to look as stupid as they want to with the tats. Once you go out in public, other people are entitled to their (quite probably different) optinions. In a profession working with consumers it's a different story. If you apply for a job and have visible tats, the company is legally entitled not to hire you based on that alone because once they hire you, you represent the company and not yourself. Porn stars are selling a product or brand (their looks) in a visual medium. If customers like the product (the porn star's look in whatever medium sold), they spend money to buy it. That makes a porn star's appearance the customer's business too. If a porn star enters the industry with a certain appearance (which is the product) and attracts customers, then changes her appearance/product in a way her customers don't like, the customer is under no obligation to keep buying the product. When a porn star substanially changes her looks (whether with tats, fake tits, plastic surgery, or getting the lip injections that make her look like she kissed a hot curling iron) during her career she is wagering the money she loses from alienated existing customers will be offset by retained customers and new customers. That gamble gets lost way many more times than it gets won. Porn stars need to drop the Cartman-esque "I'll do what I want" bullshit. Sure you can do what you want but that doesn't mean there's no consequences. Personally they that they can tat or cut themselves up as stupidly as they want if they are sitting in the confines of their home and rest comfortably. For a porn star professionally that isn't true and the customers do have a say, because a porn star with no customers ceases to exist.
