Personally, I'm self taught, started out editing music videos on public access. They have to allocate time slots in their edit suites, if you can call them that, for the public for non commercial projects to be aired on public access T.V.. My friend, Chip Ram, and I were doing a social protest video called, Third World America, about how America is becoming a third world country and we were almost finished with the video when Chip accidentally erased a 5 second piece of the sound right in the middle of the piece. I fuckin freaked! How are we going to fix it! Chip calmly explained to me that there was a thing called time code, and proceeded to put the sound precisely where it was to begin with. Well the light bulb over my head went off like a 20k. I knew at that very moment what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I worked and shot and lit on projects for basically free for about a year and a half or two until I became proficient enough to get gigs at places like Neotec while doing editing on the side. This came to that and here I am. Only took me 35 years to figure out what I wanted to do in life, pretty pathetic but at least I know now. That's my story and there are thousands of others with various twists and turns to get on this road. The main thing is to be dedicated to learning the craft, because it is a craft not a profession, and bust your nuts for little money or none at all to get started. Desire is the motivating factor here.
To get more specific to you inquiry there are many special courses that apply to different programs and formats depending on your preference. I just took three courses at UCLA extension Final Cut 101, Final Cut Advanced and After Effects. Most colleges have film or video or broadcast classes that can offer a beginner theory, the where's, when and whys that are all important to this medium and there are increasingly more outside courses being offered from Moviola, Dr Raw Stock and various others. These are very informative and are good networking situations too.

Sorry, Dumbblonde, I worked on the mad scientist lair where the mad scientist was going to kill the Energizer bunny with a laser ray cannon, when he gets him in his sights he fires and because he didn't use the right batteries the laser failed and the effort was thwarted. I got to work with Frank Ozz, of the Muppets fame, and the director of photography was Alan Davia who helmed among others The Color Purple, E.T.. There were three spots for this particular campaign One was the mad scientist and in the stage next door they had the Empire State building where King Kong climbs it and another one I can't recall. We did the blinking lights and technical looking equipment around the mad scientists targeting screen.

Vince calls his own shots. He's positioned himself in the perfect situation. He's his own entity, he can shoot, work or do pretty much anything he wants. I have the utmost respect for Vince as a director, producer, balls to the walls take no prisoners, muttha fugger. Vince taught me a lot of things he was never aware of, just because of the no bullshit, kind of guy, he is. Vince was one of the best inside interference runners that's ever participated in the G.B. forum.
I can't give an opinion on Red Lights G.B., in a side by side, because I haven't seen theirs. That may seem neglectful on my part,,,, I'd rather make my contribution to our product without any outside interference cluttering my focus. If you watch other peoples stuff before you shoot yours it could, directly of indirectly, sway and color certain decisions, Conscience or sub conscience, I prefer to be a clean slate when I go into a uncontrolled train wreck in progress with unstructured structure. That's the most fulfilled satisfaction you could hope for the live make it work on the spure of the shit.

RLD has two Gang Bang movies. Anabolic is up to #35. I didn't care much for RLD's Gang Bang 2, and can't say I've seen an Anabolic Gang Bang that I liked since --- Christy Parks.
I'd say my favorite Anabolic GBs are #14, with Vanessa Chase and Rebecca Lord; the boxing ring one with Sabrina Johnson and Nikki Brantz; and the one with the Australian girl in the auto garage (pulled from the shelves because of Harley-Davidson's visible name in one of the scenes, or something like that).

Overall, my fave GB-style scenes have been best captured by Rocco and/or Christoph Clark in their Euro productions. They seem to get all the sophisticated camera moves down, have ravishing girls, pretty good-lookng guys, and extreme nastiness. HI there, I just wanted to say that it's soo refreshing having Ariana post on here and I love reading her comments. She has the greatest approach towards movies and oopinions. I haven't actually seen her in action yet (movies are a little hard to come by where I live) but have seen a few clips and I'm stunned by her performance, looks and actualy enjoyment of the work she's doing.. I know there are a few girls out there that actually do enjoy what they're doing but it's still great to see someone enjoy themselves this much.. not to mention her actually listening to her fans and prooducing scenes that they want to see her in..
