| Planet Sex Deactivated User 1951 Posts 6/01 |  Posted - Jan 17 2003 : 9:39AMThere´s more about it, including a cool video, at www.lukeford.com A RAID ON AN ALLEGEDLY ILLEGAL DVD DUPLICATOR El Segundo, CA - On Thursday morning, the El Segundo Police Department and the El Segundo District Attorney's Office served search warrants against Digital Video Technology 3000 Inc (DVT), a DVD duplicator, located in El Segundo California. DVT was suspected of illegally duplicating DVD's therefore violating copyright and piracy laws. The evidence was amassed by an in-house task force within Anabolic Video Productions, Inc. and Diabolic Video Productions, Inc. When sufficient evidence was gathered, Anabolic and Diabolic alerted law enforcement officials of El Segundo who quickly issued a search warrant. With a team of police officers and detectives, the premises of DVT was searched and the contents inside were inventoried as evidence. Not only were Anabolic and Diabolic DVDs allegedly pirated, there were also allegedly pirated copies of DVDs from Metro, Big Top, and Playboy. Officials from Metro and Playboy were alerted and later arrived at the scene to inventory and inspect the outcome of the raid. The President of Anabolic, Christopher Alexander, wished to thank the local law enforcement officers for their professionalism and their swift reaction to the allegedly illegal pirators of their DVDs. Anabolic and Diabolic have an absolute 'Zero Tolerance' policy against anyone suspected of infringing its copyrights or trademarks by pirating or counterfeiting its DVD's, VHS tapes, and Internet content. In addition, ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC have developed its own taskforce to actively pursue criminal and civil legal action against suspected violators. Representatives of ANABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC. and DIABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC., are currently involved in lawsuits relating to violations of the copyright and trademark of ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC DVD's. ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC again wish to applaud the Law Enforcement Officials who organized and coordinated this effort and fully support their efforts to enforce piracy laws. [Link] |

We also had used DVT3000 a couple years ago, but bad quality discs, completely crappy turnaround time and NO organization over there were the reasons I pulled all my product and DLTs.
