But I have heard about a couple who couldn't separate from each other due to vaginismus. And helping such a lady relax her vaginal muscles through anal stimulation can start out gradually with lubricated fingers first and then anal sex. I don't know what doctors do in this kind of situation. But it's quite possible that helping the lady relax her pelvic muscles through anal stimulation is one of the things they do.
