IMHO all this incessant gaping and an over abundance of sites specifically focused on one activity, makes it quite overrated to say the least, especially when we know the pay for anal scenes is supposedly much higher. From a business-side, anal scenes have been the biggest return on investment for me, and for a lot of people. Anal creampies even more so. Whatever people may think of anal being vanilla, it's still taboo enough that it generates lots of interest.

From a production side, it's a nightmare. Fewer girls do it, and you get many instances of cancellations or backing out. There's also the occasional "accident".

It's a strange thing from a performer standpoint also. We've seen many, many, many times...okay let's be honest...every time...A girl gets hounded to do anal and she finally decides to do it and makes the announcement. Notwithstanding the fact that you haven't answered my question, your statement that there are way too many anal sites rather undermines your thesis. The reason why there are so many sites is because the demand exists in the first place. If the demand wasn't there, these sites would not be successful in attracting the numbers they do. Clearly the punters that pay to visit these sites do so in belief and expectation that they are satisfied with their content and ergo do not think it is overrated.
