I appreciate and understand your current view on 4K, as file sizes appear to be a deciding factor for many people unfortunately. However, there is certainly a growing audience of people who have the capabilities to download and accommodate such high quality videos, with improving internet speeds, growing hard drive capacities and of course 4K screens. More and more studios/websites are offering 4K resolution for their videos now and it would be absolutely awesome to regularly watch your scenes at 'AngelaWhite.com' in the highest quality possible too. 4theheart Senior Member pornologist 3102 Posts 8/01	Posted - Aug 6 2016 : 6:33AM ^^^(Lengthy post warning) I really do respect and understand your opinion and I'm sure Angela will have an announcement on this from her perspective when and if she is ready but I would add a few opinions of my own about both the prospect her shooting with other companies and getting an agent. -I really have a tremendous amount of respect for Angela and I love and have purchased multiple but Angela may be at a point where she wants to work/collaborate with other companies and be able to work with talent/directors that she may have always wanted to, but didn't have the opportunity as they are under under exclusive companies. And if that is her desire I can't fault her for that. It's an independent decision to either work for herself, or other companies (or as I suspect both) and so I respect that. - I loved her work with Greg Lansky for blacked, and more importantly Angela has said that she loved it. The possibility of seeing her on Vixen or under Mason (wow) is now a possibility. Or (if it is her desire) she can shoot for a site like kink, that have fairly specialized equipment/experience that may be expensive impractical to get on a short time basis on her own while in the U.S. -Given the above, I don't think it really comes down to Angela "needing" an agent but rather wanting one. And simply put Spiegler is not just any agent. He is considered by many to be THE best in the industry. And the best for several reasons that may be important to Angela. 1.) He has the reputation for guiding many successful award winning careers. 2.) He gets stars under his agency LOTS of work with reputable companies due to his reputation over the decade+ 3.)He makes sure his stars are paid on time. -With regard to the first point, Angela is of course already a very successful, multiple-award winning star/director but even still, there are other directors who do not know angela personally by nature of her working (very successfully) on her own productions. Spiegler can help bridge things and make connections quickly and seamlessly. -With regards to 2.) Angela lives in Australia, so she can only come to the US via visa on a limited basis. Due to the reputation that speigler has for getting work for his starlets, he can arrange and get approval for all of the shoots for angela while she is still in Australia so that by the time she arrive, all of her shoots are already lined up and she can maximize her time and whom she works with to her liking. -And finally with point 3.)From my understanding, Many studios pay talent after the scene. And although it may seem trivial, Gracie Glam on a recent podcast explained (despite being a big star in her own right) that she decided to sign up with an agent because she was tired of chasing down some companies for payment. I'd imagine this would be an even bigger problem for a star like Angela that doesn't live in the U.S. and doesn't have a huge period of time to chase down checks before she leaves. Spiegler can handle that for her so she can focus on shooting the content that she and us enjoy -Sorry for the lengthy post but these are just a few of my thoughts. I'm sure Angela will continue to work for herself and I will continue to buy them, but now there will apparently also be the possibility of seeing Angela work with new visions and with new talent. For a sexual explorer like Angela I think that may have been an enticing idea. And as a content creator herself, I'm sure she will asking directors firsthand for ideas/techniques(while she is also experiencing them) so that she can add to her own already incredibly successful productions. I'm not criticizing her. It is her career and she knows what is best for it not a stranger. She doesn't need to make an announcement or justify and/or explain her career decisions to anyone. I would imagine she will continue to have her own site and create her own material irrespective of an affiliation with an agency. I just found it refreshing to see a female performer produce high quality material and be successful in this business without needing an agent. That's all. In no way did those movies show her sexual prowess and willingness to do more than just robotic sex (a hallmark of SCORE DVDs and scenes to this very day!). Anyone who has seen these movies, listened to her interviews about her sexual awaking, and then SCENE it since she opened her own production company, should have pause in her signing with anyone. Again, go back to "Angela" her first release and watch her candid interviews. More than once I've pointed to this and the part where she fully admits to having her first gangbang at 14 years old. Granted signing with an agency is not signing with another production company. Here's hoping Angela has some say in which movies she does. [Link]

Signing with an agent doesn't necessarily mean that you have to take every booking that you're offered, it just means that you have someone else to handle the details when you do get booked by another company. More than likely, if she's deciding to shoot for other companies, she's going to be exerting some control over who she does and doesn't shoot for. [Link]

Moving to the United States is going to change dramatically the course of my career and I am very excited to embark on this next chapter. It appears that most of you are excited about seeing me shoot for other producers and directors but some others are a bit perplexed as to why I've made the decision. I'll try to clear a few things up in this post. I also recommend that you read my interview with Dan Miller at AVN because I discuss some of my motivations in the article. But before I move on, let me just assure everyone that I still have a lot of plans for angelawhite.com and there is a lot of new and amazing content that is about to be released via my website and through my exclusive DVD lines. I am also planning something big for Angela 3. But I'll be keeping a lid on that until the time is right. So onto the news: Firstly, I don't need an agent. Against all of the odds and with the Pacific Ocean in my way, I built an award winning brand with a reputation for quality and excellence. At great expense, I established a European company and opened my own Merchant Bank accounts due to both restrictions in Australia and the limitations placed on Australian citizens attempting to access services from US billing providers. I created a website that chronicles my sexual journey which has been recognised as the XBIZ Adult Site of the Year in the Performer category 2 years running. I took a risk in creating a website whose logo and design have more in common with minimalism and high fashion than current trends in solo performer websites. I created content that resonated with audiences and critics alike and won AVN awards for both my boy/girl and my girl/girl scenes. I directed and produced my finest work in Angela 2; I pushed my sexual boundaries and explored my sexuality in ways that challenged my body and my identity. I grew as a person and a performer. I made such an impact that XBIZ crowned me the 2016 Foreign Female Performer of the Year. I negotiated an international distribution deal for my exclusive line of DVDs with Girlfriends Films, one of the leading adult film distributors in the world. I secured a deal with Interactive Life Forms that would make me the first Australia Fleshlight Girl. I did all of this without an agent. And I achieved all of this without filming for other companies. I can understand why some fans might be a little perplexed as to why I would choose to change my formula now; especially given my powerful and rare position as a female director and performer who currently has complete control over her own brand and image. 4theHeart made some very astute observations particularly with reference to me being a "sexual explorer". My motivation for entering the adult industry has always been to express and explore my sexuality, its boundaries and its depths. While I still have desires that I wish to explore in my own DVD lines and webscenes, I also have a yearning desire to broaden my sexual horizons. I feel that shooting for other producers and directors will open me up to new opportunities to learn about myself, to grow and to experience new pleasures that are perhaps outside of the scope of what I consider sexually interesting at this point in time. I have often experienced this when engaging with fans through webcamming. Fans have come to me with fantasies that I have never even considered, niches that I have never even heard of, and often I find myself turned on by something that was outside of my own sexual vocabulary. This is one of the major reasons I want to shoot with other directors. I want to be exposed to their sexual visions and I want to experience what it is like to indulge in their fantasies on film. In addition to my personal sexual exploration, my involvement in adult entertainment is part of a larger ethnographic investigation into pornography that has informed my studies and my writing. You are probably all aware that I conducted qualitative research into female experiences in the Australian pornography industry while I was at The University of Melbourne. In the future (although exactly when is undetermined at this stage), I plan on returning to Australia to pursue my Ph.D. and I will more than likely focus my research on sexuality, the adult industry and pornography. The more experiences I have within this industry the broader my knowledge base will be. There are also certain types of scenes that I have no interest in directing and producing for my website or my DVD lines but that I am very interested in participating in as an adult performer. One example is adult Feature films that require acting. I have come full circle on my views on scripted sex scenes. For my own productions, I have always focused on removing artifice to showcase "real sex": authentic chemistry and genuine pleasure. For a long time, I was not interested in plot driven or narrative based pornography because I felt scripts hindered intimacy rather than encouraged it. It was actually through my qualitative research that my opinion changed on this subject. My research revealed that through becoming a "character" in pornography, performers are able to experience pleasures disinvested from desire and what they take to be their own sexual identity. One example from my study was of a heterosexual woman who did "gay-for-pay" scenes and ended up identifying as bisexual. The unexpected pleasures that she experienced through performing in pornography opened her up to a new sexual pleasures and ultimately a different sexual identification. I'm curious. what if I enter a scene not as "Angela White" but as someone else, say, Black Widow or Talia Al Ghul or some random nameless secretary? What different things might I feel in someone else's shoes? These are things I'm interested in exploring personally as a performer but not something I have any interest in directing or producing (the location scouting and costuming alone sound like a nightmare). These are some of my motivations for shooting for other companies, although this list is not extensive. I only want to associate with premium brands and Spiegler Girls is certainly that. There is nobody better suited to represent me than Mark Spiegler. I know from booking talent for AGW Entertainment that when you book a Spiegler Girl the talent turn up on time, well prepared, with a great attitude and put an amazing effort into each scene. These are things that I pride myself on. Of course, I could have done this independently (and Mark was generous enough to offer his assistance to me even if I did not take him on as my agent). But I know that being represented by Mark is the right decision. I've only just begun to work with Mark and I am already so happy with how he fights for me, offers me advice and respects my requests, shooting schedule and no lists (even if he may not necessarily agree with them). I mean unless they're lesbians and zero interest whatsoever in being with a guy, doing exclusively girl-girl scenes, it doesn't happen often these days. There isn't much more "gay for pay" as there was in the 90s. Again, I can draw the example of the SCORE Group. I resell a lot DVDs and those are a huge commodity still. It's a niche market where fans, like myself, love women who are a double D cup or better. A couple months back I got in a huge wholesale order with about 25 SCORE movies in there. These were movies I wanted when they came out, but at the time they were selling for $40 apiece, sometimes more. I watched most of them and you can clearly tell the girls who were no way interested in having her tongue touch another woman's vagina. Even the toy scenes the tip was barely inserted and they were screaming like they were completely filled and getting pounded. For the most part, except the movies of Chloe Vevrier, ALL of the movies I've seen of course are this way. Fake, horribly acted and just plain bad. I know both Angela White and Maggie Green from my days as a hardcore fan of SCORE and Voluptous magazines. The dark hair and piercing eyes of Angela White grabbed me right away. Then I read she was from Australia. Back in the 90s every now and then you'd see model from different countries before the internet took hold and they started showing up from all over the globe. I remember when *A Day With Angela White* came out. I spent the money and picked it up. I wasn't overly impressed with it at all, but again knowing what production company put it out I wasn't surprised. I never saw *Angela Finally Fucks*, which has Maggie Green in it as well, but I didn't choose to waste the money. SCORE was and still is a niche market. I've been a fan for years and spoken to numerous stars from their roster. Angela White wants to branch out into the entire universe of the adult industry and we here applaude and eagerly await how performance But Maggie Green is still doing girl-girl. Either she doesn't need the money or has no interest in dipping her toes further into the pond. As for the niche market it will continue to be where it currently is. Every time I make a suggestion of having another woman similar to or large in size to Angela being on BLACKED I am shouted down for the same reasons. The reasons and words are too ugly for me to get into, but I'm sure everyone is aware. I've said it for years I don't have the money to do high-production value and scenario scenes with plus sized and/or well-endowed women. Angela White is doing it. Kelly Madison, who I knew about from SCORE long before she opened her own production company, is doing it. But the second a model with breasts as long as theirs, who isn't enhanced, doesn't have a flat stomach the ugliness begins and so does the name calling. Angela if you're reading this I hope that you eventually open a new wind of your production company here focusing on women who are well-endowed. I know you'll be able to show their figures, lines and curves just as beautifully as you show your own. Until then women like yourself and Maggie Green will be lost to the whole of the adult industry, until they prove size is sexy. [Link]
