Every time I had a girlfriend I'd feel sick to my stomach hours a day due to the stress of I guess realizing she was out of my league and then realize it and poof gone . I made a conscious decision to remove stress sources from my life to the maximum I can such as now having a lower stress but lower paying job. However on occasion I feel less functioning human when I realize that it's been 12-13 years now since I've had sex but fortunately I have always had a pretty low sex drive . [Link] |

I'd put money on this being why you always felt your girlfriends at the time were out of your league. You have to be kinder to yourself and take the view that you are "good enough" for the next woman in your life. Yes, you will take punches (rejection, being dumped, "we've got to talk", etc) on the way but you can roll with them or get up if they knock you down. These setbacks are doing you a favour as she probably wasn't the right woman for you. |
