I think sneakers/tennis shoes are very sexy if they come with a pair of bare legs. The pics of Jennifer White on that website linked by the OP are a perfect example. I'm partial to classic shelltoe adidas myself, but the Chuck Taylor low tops are great too.

Well probably if it's their main fetish, and they see it on a girl they find very attractive.
As for me, I definitely do find it quite visually pleasing (converse in particular), much more so than any sort of fancy footwear like heels or boots. Still it's not really a fetish for me, but it does generally add to the overall appeal of someones look.

Plain sneakers are fine, and fairly neutral as a turn on. The canvas Converse, Chuck-style are easily one of my biggest turn-offs.
