Most women cant pull off the short hair look. Some can but not many. And sometimes, rarely its very sexy. I prefer longer hair to be at least shoulder length. Part of that I think is an ingrained stereotype that its just how its always been. But the shorter it is the less feminine they look.
I had a major unrequited crush on a German girl who had both short and long hair. She looked amazing either way. Kinds have a thing for short hair because of her. It was kinda popular in the 1990s.
For me it really depends on who is sporting the cut. Gail Porter (T.V. presenter) lost all of her head hair and is slap bald. I don't think it suits her. I like it on African women. Partially shaved is good too. The issue comes for me when a shaved head looks like they did it to manage infestation or they are surviving some therapy.
I actually kinda like short hair. But it depends on the type, some women look stunning with a shorter hairstyle, while others have a face that gets accentuated better with longer hair. It's always about the bigger picture. I found that women with stronger features can sport the short hair look better than those with soft features.
Totally get where you're coming from-everyone has their own preferences. Hair length can really change how someone looks, but confidence and style matter most in the end!
