What is their procedure when they raid your home?

Do they take items on their *LIST* or do they take everything?

Now this is based on a raid at at friends house some years ago. He was bringing in porn laser discs, ignored a couple of "do not do again, we have destroyed the LD's" letters. As you can imagine the type of porn available on on LD then is not too bad.

Anyway, they raided the house and went looking EVERYWHERE. They ripped up floor boards and took ANYTHING they thought *might* have porn on it. This included all his VHS tapes, computer discs etc. etc. His PC went as well.

Most of it came back to him over time, but he did go to court, got a fine etc. etc. Big hassle, big stress.

Do not mess with Customs, they have greater powers to search / seize than the Police

I would doubt very much that this situation would happen now, the events I am talking about took place some years ago.

There are several UK people on this board who have bought from outside the UK with no problems, they have even had packages opened by Customs and delivered OK.

One or two people have had discs seized that had pissing in the trailers, so those people might need to be a bit more careful on what they bring in.

However, if you import porn that shows no one being forced into sex, has no shit / piss / kids / animals / fisting - then it appears you should be fine
