Can anyone comment on the 1992 John Leslie movie, Anything That Moves ? I've got Curse Of The Catwoman and Chameleons , the latter being one of my favourite movies of the early nineties, and would like to get some more of his VCA releases. I was going to get The Tease but have since read that Anything That Moves is a moody, shot-on-film, thriller - which sounds ideal. Has anyone seen it?

I am a huge Selena Steele fan. Curse of the Catwoman may be the 1st title I ever owned. I saw Anything That Moves, and I don't remember much. Cameleons, Not the Sequel wasn't bad either.
I'm not sure if I saw the tease. I want to say if there was a sequel, I saw that.
Anything That Moves is well made and worth seeing, but in my view, unless you are a big Tracey Winn fan (and I wouldn't hold that against anyone), I think you will find it suffers from limited eroticism. With the outstanding exceptions you have mentioned, my own taste in Leslie's VCA stuff goes back to many of the earlier shot-on-video productions, such as Going Down Slow , the original Catwoman , Mad Love , the original Chameleon , and Strange Curves . The Tease is also good, mainly due to the contribution of Lauren Hall. But the movie you should really see is Dogwalker , Leslie's first EA title, which I think is in many ways a summation of everything he had done up to that point, containing all his film noir fixations, dark sexual vision, and creepy erotic style--and combining them with the heavier sex just then coming into vogue (1994). Unfortunately, Leslie has never gone back to feature porn since, preferring to continue his gonzo explorations with progressively less and less interesting results.
Anything That Moves is very good. Besides great production values, what made it special for me is that it had to be Tracey Winn's best showcase. She was really beautiful and most of her videos were cheap crap. This film is not one of those.
Thanks for this, Lazerus. I've got both Dogwalker and Fresh Meat , both of which are wonderful. I was also thinking of getting Drop Sex but I'm not sure if that would be to my taste. I've seen a couple of Leslie's gonzo's and, although I can admire them stylistically, they didn't really hold my attention. It's a real shame he seems to have given up on features.
I am trying to obtain every feature John Leslie directed. This title is certainly on the top of my list. I currently have "Nighshift Nurses", "The Catwoman", "The Pillowman", "Laying the Ghost", "Angels", and "Chameleons: Not the Sequel". I have rented "The Chameleon", "Curse of the Catwoman", and "Playin' Dirty", but do not own them yet. Are there any John Leslie titles that are *extremely hard* to get?
Anything That Moves is a masterpiece. I certainly don't recommend it as a film for somebody seeking a jerk-off video. It's very stylish, has a real plot, but is very erotic. Great couples movie or for anybody into something different. You seem to also be quite a Leslie fan, Corey. The hardest one for me to find was "Bare Market", which I ended up buying at a flea market. Sadly, only about half of his VCA stuff has been released on DVD. Most stores only seem to sell his important stuff- Nightshift Nurses, The Catwoman, Chameleon, The Voyeur series. All of those movies you listed are quality Leslie, though. I'm surprised Laying the Ghost and Angels haven't been released on DVD yet, considering they both star Savannah. I'm hoping one day that all of his stuff will be released on DVD where it can be preserved forever.
