| vodka tonic coolest cucumber who 1243 Posts 11/02 | There's a review on the way, but I don't know when I'll be able to finish it, so just a quick heads-up for this wonderful little gem. It's the usual "couples-in-distress" PT movie, except he decided to drop the script, and let Savanna, Justin Magnum & Roxy Jezel improvise their dialogue. It gives an amateurish yet refreshing vibe (hence the title ?) to the no-beginning, no-middle, no-end movie. It actually gives it an indie feel. The editing is also very free-style, with liberal use of jump-cuts (I had no idea what it meant until I saw the BTS) that send back to reality shows & an alternation of sophiscation (rich colours & textures & flattering shadows & lights accompany Savanna's 3 scenes) and raw gonzo videography (Roxy Jezel & Missy Monroe's respective quack/gag/squirt bouts) that makes for an unsettling, yet cohesive visual ride. Savanna has come a long way from her hesitant Vivid debut. She's finally stopped looking at the camera, carries her scenes with strength & femininity, and she's even started to take acting lessons, which shows. Justin doesn't have a lot of exposure, maybe he wasn't comfortable without a script, Roxy explodes the screen in her 2 appearances (sex & non-sex). I highly recommend it to couples AND the single man in search of a different ride. [Link] |
