After watching a b/g/g, scene, I’m always left somewhat dissatisfied, since the girls essentially have to split camera time. Often, there’s just too much going on (simultaneous action) and too much to see for one camera to effectively capture it all, which means there will likely be a few hot moments/opportunities that will be missed, like prime segments of quality cock sucking, stroking and grinding, or a priceless facial expression. I usually find myself increasingly frustrated as the scene progresses, constantly wanting the camera to either maintain its view or point in an area other than the one chosen. Even if there’s a great camera angle or position shown, the time focused on it is reduced by the cameraman and/or editor as they try to evenly distribute the viewable content among the performers and associated “activities“. This ultimately results in a lack of continuity. In the end, the amount of sustained viewing time given to any part of the action is insufficient in building enough sexual tension for the viewer to fully enjoy. In b/b/g scenes, although the lone girl does not have to split her time, unfortunately her body is usually somewhat obstructed (crowded) by the comparative bulk of the two guys, which ultimately compromises the visual erotic imagery of the scene. Not only are the technical logistics of shooting a 3-way or multi-partner scene problematic, these types of scenes often lack real heat or passion. Sex was designed to be a mutually shared act of carnal desire between two people. As if there wasn’t already enough sexual distractions in a "normal" video shoot, additional performer(s) in a scene create added distraction for any random coupling that might ensue, disrupting that mutual focus so critical in developing any sense of genuine sexual chemistry. So as you may have gathered, my opinion is, at least from a viewing perspective, that these types of scenes are definitely overrated. No matter what crazy sexual combinations might be conjured up by porn producers, there’s still something special and incomparable about a genuinely hot, hormone-driven, 1-on-1 encounter, where both performers become oblivious to the camera and succumb to their most primative passions.
Very true, and it's not only from a viewer perspective, IMO. I've had a fair share of ffm action in real life and, while it's mentally exhilarating (at least in the beginning), practically I've always found myself frustrated as far as physical enjoyment is concerned, because it's very hard to keep everything coordinated as opposed to 1-on-1. In porn, I would suggest to directors and performers to accept that they have to sacrifice something about visual constraints and focus on naughtiness. I do like MFF porn, but too much of MFF porn is directed towards men getting satisfied and looses focus on the women all together. While I'm sure being with two girls is awesome, watching it on screen is a chore. We need MFF scenes shot like MMF scenes, where the focus is on one girl getting doubled up on by the other people so we don't have to wonder about what we are missing off screen.
