Is anyone else starting to get a little bored of Mike's movies? While I'm a fan of his work, it feels like he's pumping out the same thing over and over again now. Every scene and every series is generally similar to the other and there is little differentiation. It is the same sterile mansion setting, the same colorful outfits, the same positions, the same open mouthed cum shot endings etc etc. They seem to lack some spontaneity. It would be nice to see him mixing things up in some different locations or countries, maybe doing an amateur series to work with some fresh and undiscovered new talent, maybe going for more realism (something like the RAW series), maybe trying some different cum shots or a focus on different techniques (like the amazing oral creampies he used to do!) and just generally changing things up a little to keep things fresh. What do you guys and gals think?

Agree. Although with his prodigious output I suppose it is difficult to keep things fresh. That said, his latest release Anal Overdose #3 is the best thing he has done in couple of years imo, featuring a couple of multiple girl scenes, which were also longer than of late. He even took his trousers off!

I'll check out Anal Overdose #3, the multiple girl scenes are most always great, he probably doesn't do them too often because of how expensive they would be to shoot. I think he needs to move on frm his type of work . John Buttman" Stagliano is a classic case , he damn near invented the gonzo genre , but his work progressed and changed thruout his career . Adriano get great hot girls , film some really hot "natural" anal , and is a great performer , along with Christian I don't think there a scene where he's not super hard. Ever since his first movie his scenes have all been the same style. Its pretty old now. The girls are amazing but the shooting style is repetitive. The only new things he has introduced is using food and the speculums but if your not into that kinda thing its still the same.
I like his movies but I think many scenes at BangBros have more variety and a better look. My suggestions: - He should do more facesitting sequences in his movies. The only thing repetitive I see in Mike Adriano's movies are the high quality of the performances. The girls seem to really dig him, trust him, and open up to him like no other. I mostly agree with what's being said here. Adriano's films are very repetitive in my opinion and even though they have different titles they are all interchangable in my eyes. That said, what he does do he does it well. The thing that I find difficult with Adriano is not so much the repetitive nature of his scenes, which they are, but the "fatigue" factor. What I mean is that, his endless start/stop and repositioning the girl (to the point of micro-management, IMHO) is just exhausting to watch. You can't really get into anything you like -- and he does some good stuff -- because 30 seconds later he stops, repositions and does something else. Also, I wish it was easier to tell his cumshots apart from all the drool and slop
^ I'd say that Mike Adriano has a handsome face, perhaps a little too handsome. Because this kind of thing can make women like the guy a lot and make other guys feel sick with jealousy.
He does have a bad tendency to over-direct some of his scenes. It's worse when the girl is new to porn. The first time he shot Mandy Muse is a good example, it's practically unwatchable. He literally tells her what to do every 10 seconds, even if she's already doing it.
I do like with his movies that you can usually always count on a good amount of tease before the action. He most always interviews the girls about their personal anal experiences which is great and he usually always asks the girls to do the "winking" trick in the tease, which is always hot to watch! I especially love when he gets them to do it over his dick during the actual anal sex, which is something I wish he would encourage more. I could watch a whole series based on that technique alone! With the prolific output he has, there is always room for giving the fans what they want but also trying some different things and expanding on things that work as well.

Imagine if he did an anal series in the Manuel Ferrara RAW style, where it was all about hooking up with the girl in a more realistic setting (other than the sterile mansion) and establishing more of an intimate connection as opposed to the "endless start/stop" approach? Yep. Don't even watch them if they have a girl I like. Not the kind of stuff I enjoy. That close up gaping, excessive salvia stuff is old hat.
The stopping and starting and over-directing of the girls during the scene absolutely kills any momentum or flow. I don't think much of him as a performer, but this is the single biggest problem with his work in my opinion.

The question should be: Can his movies become not repetive? I really don't think so. But I do appreciate'em from time to time. And the girls... I don't think he'll ever run out of the freshest talent. So in my book he's on the radar. But I will never have trouble with the frequency. He is where he is and sucks what he sucks. I sure can tell about the procedure before even watching. Nevertheless I can not get repetive in watching his movies because of the exact reasons mentioned above.

Could never understand how people like his movies, he shoots every single scene in a close-up POV style that looks awful. I could never enjoy POV porn seeing how the close-up weird angles appear to the viewer. I sometimes watch his trailers at Evil Angel and every release is the same stuff over and over like others here have said.
I will say one thing for Mike, people like to talk about him. I like his work and most likely always will. It's a no bullshit approach and you know what you're getting each and every time. Of course they're repetitive, but so is almost every other producer/director/web site. Everyone thinks Lansky is the greatest thing ever, but his scenes are all pretty much exactly the same thing, which is okay because that's what his customers want. We're in the era of niche and specialized porn. This is what it is. For my part, I like Adiano less and less these days, but it's more because my tastes have changed than anything he's doing wrong.
