I may be alone here, but I feel the gonzo genre has kinda run its course. I don't necessarily think it should go back to the full-on roleplay of the 80s and 90s though. Agreed. I think the ultimate was the Buttman and Seymour Butts style. The reason I ask is that unless I am mistaken his movies belong in part to Evil Angel and therefore he may be the creator but he isn't the sole owner. That means that he shares in the profits with EA and it's also quite possible that EA owns the rights to all of his movie and simply pay Mike a salary. For argument sake I'll assume that he owns the movies and gets a profit from the sale or streaming rights. He releases about 3-4 titles per month and it's usually a mix of vag only or anal only. Now for argument sake I will assume that the cost to hire a performer for anal is probably between 1000$ and 1500$ and the cost for vag is probably 30% cheaper than anal. Now if I look at the month of May 2017 than here is the cost. In May Mike released 3 movies of which two were anal only and another one was a mix. One titles had 4 anal in it but one of the scene involved two girls where one was only doing oral stuff. The cost would then be anything from 4400$ to 6400$. His other anal only movie was only 4 performers so cost is 4000$ to 6000$. His last movie was a split of two anal and two vag only so cost could be anything from 3400$ all the way to 5100$ If I use the highest amounts to calculate possible cost than Mike may have had to pay out as much as 17,500$ for just the performer fees and the movies aren't edited, converted into various video files, transferred to DVD, masse produced for the DVD market, artwork done and sent to printer. I have no clue what the cost is to produce a dvd but I do know that the more you want the cheaper making each one gets. Seeing as dvd sales are now way down than cost by default must be much higher than in the past. Basically all of this tells me that although Mike may be well off. I don`t know if I would claim that he has made a lot of money. At least not without adding that it has cost him a lot of money to make it and therefore he is well off but not remotely close to being rich.

^ EA doesn't work that way. Stagliano only acts as the distributor and takes a cut but as far as I know doesn't hold any rights. It is closer to a contractor relationship as opposed to employer/employee.
Of course he has a couple of formulas he repeats, with some variations and new stuff now and then. But I would say he is not necessarily more repetitive than other directors, but it may seem so because he has such a distinct individual style, which in combination with him releasing so many scenes every month, makes it more obvious and easier to recognize the elements he use. Most directors just keeps on releasing generic gangbang or fucking scenes, I think thats repetitive if anything. Adriano is still my favorite director at EA, and definitely my favorite director of anal scenes, of any company today.

Disagree, he almost always has the same sequence of shots: tit and butt worship, rimming, blowjob, missionary, reverse cowgirl, doggy, pop on the butt or 'in the mouth' aka. these days faking the cumshot. he hits the mark most of the time to be honest. if anything I like the usual positions, if he misses some out I find myself getting irritated. I used to hate the close up style but deal with it better now because he basically provides the exact porn I like.
