As a few people have mentioned, I think the main problem at the moment is that the larger high profile porn producers are not innovating. Instead they are all copying each other, churning out the same cookie-cutter scenes ad infinitum. Just like Hollywood, they are catering for the most part to the lowest common denominator, the 'average' imagined consumer. And in doing so, they end up pleasing far fewer people, especially anyone who actually cares about the quality of the porn they watch and the stars involved - who incidentally are the people most likely to PAY for their porn rather than stream from tube sites. I think sites and producers need to concentrate on a style or niche and talk directly to the fans while encouraging interaction. By making you feel part of a 'club', you are more inclined to support that site and their vision. And those sites need to get better with the marketing, targeting the right audience. What sites do this already? I am going to pick something that I am not actually a fan of at all (its just not my thing), but that I think does a good job of all of the above and serves as a good case-study - Kink.com: - Producers are knowledgable about the content they are producing - Targeted a niche that wasn't being well-catered-for previously - created diversity within that niche - Innovated within that niche - Raised the bar with production values - PR and marketing within the scene's community and mainstream press - fostered an online community that encouraged feedback, both positive and negative - relatively open and honest about behind-the-scenes happenings - fostered a safe and respectful working environment for performers - caters for straight and gay men AND women (if this kind of thing is your bag, that is) Is the site for everyone? No, not at all. Its not for me personally. But that is the point! I would say you could take the points above and have a good bash at creating a successful anal site. Or a successful site based on narrative porn. Or art-house porn. Or role play. Or bukkake.

I second, especially about Lansky. My only wish is that the performers would have better acting - that would definitely enhance the hotness of the scenes. Blacked and Vixen both have some really promising, sexy lead-in scenarios that are ruined by performers who have zero sense of how to deliver lines. The scenes that involve more psychological elements of D/s or cuckolding (Jade Nile's first blacked scene, Mona Wales, Gigi Allen) are a bit more along the lines of what I'm looking for, as you have to be good at more than just the sex to make a compelling scene as you move into the BDSM realm. Alli Haze, Carter Cruise, and Dani Daniels also weren't too bad.

Yeah, true. And that's why I am so not a fan of Digital Sin & New Sensations anyfuckingmore. Why must I be treated with incest themes all the time? Can I be treated with something else? No I can't. So I haven't been buying one DVD fram them in 2016, except for some piece of compiltation.
