Amen to that! Best gonzo movie of all time!! I agree. I refuse to watch any of her wicked movies I stay watching the Insatiable movies. I also really enjoyed Asa Akira To The Limit. I absolutely loved Asa for a long time, I even got her book. Am I a terrible person for not watching one Wicked movie because there are condoms? I support performer safety however it just isn't masturbation material. I thought I would be ok with it and I would follow her work over there, but I just can't motivate myself to watch one of her condom titles. I just think I would buy it, watch it once, and probably not access it in the archive again. The Insatiable Series is brilliant, my favorite is #3.

I am on the same page with you Canadian. There is nothing wrong with condom porn. It's just not for me. That's only half the reason why I don't watch her Wicked movies, the other being that the sex scenes are 10-15 minutes... Not for me. I will stick with her gonzo material. I don't have the book. Did you enjoy it? #3 was actually my least favorite out of the 3.

Yeah I enjoyed it. Asa has a fairly good sense of humor and weaves it throughout the book. It really isn't a bio or anything, more just a collection of stories and experiences and thoughts. The part I didn't like was she wrote a "letter to my future child" or something like that... I can't remember verbatim but the essence was something like "I met your father while he was fucking me in the ass during a DP" and things of that nature. I think talking to your kids about sex is fine when they are the right age, talking to them about your porn career is ok when they are old enough..... I just think when someone is 11 or 12 and they read that on the internet it may cause some issues since it is specifically written for that kid to see it. It may have a more serious effect than when the child finds one of her porn scenes. I am probably in the minority on my opinion of this letter and am no expert on children of porn performers so I may or may not be right. It just made me a bit uncomfortable. I also don't buy the assertion that she only escorted one time (or something to that effect). I mean, comon :) But hey, most girls deny it so why not I guess. Other than that part, the book was a fun read. If you like her personality and her sense of humor it is well worth taking the time to read it. She honestly seems like a pretty cool person, and the book reminded me why I have liked her so much over the years. It was more than just her looks and sex acts that drew me to her. Put it like this, once I finally got my hands on Insatiable 2, I couldnt watch any other Asa movies the same because of how amazing that film was. EVERYTHING else seemed so tame or scripted after that. Her jump to Wicked has allowed me to undergo a much needed Asa detox since I dont like how short most of Wicked's scenes are. By the time she comes back to gonzo side, it'll be like she is a fresh 19-20 year old again, at least to me and the urge will be the same as it was when I saw her the first time.

I have found that several performers have had their absolute best performances when working with Mason (at least from the small piece of the porn pie I have seen). She really knows how to get the most out of her performers.

Every star I've seen feature dance has offered pics and signed merch for sale (and they usually give away a few items on stage to members of the crowd who cheer the loudest or whatever), but I've never inquired about the purchase price. Don't need any evidence of my attendance...
^ I'm actually happy she went to Wicked because I was scared I was going to OD on her. The only problem with my premise is that she has to leave that contract at some point. If she does, it'll be like she is starting all over again in the gonzo world, if she doesn't, well, she left a great catalog behind.
Asa signed her first year long contract with Wicked back in October 2013. She re-signed again in 2014, then once more in 2015. Even though I'm not too optimistic she'll ever leave Wicked and return to gonzo, you can be damned sure I'll be checking for articles in October 2016 to see if she's re-signed with them again. Like I said, I'm not optimistic but hope springs eternal. I'd love to see her re-team with Mason one more time. It's great she got such a sweet deal with Wicked though, she totally earned it.
