@overrated guy: it's clear, but it's not ok. "slant eye" is most definitely a racist term. I imagine it's tough for someone who doesn't speak English as a first language, and gets many cultural/racial terms from porn, which is filled with racism; but "slant eye" is not OK to say. For people who trace their past several generations of heritage to Japan (as Asa does), China, North & South Korea or a few other countries in the same region of the world, the proper term to use currently is "East Asian". (The formerly popular "Oriental" is also not acceptable anymore.)

While I completely agree that this thread should be dedicated to the worship of Asa Akira, I do think that this "language lesson" was extremely important, and it raises an important issue. The porn companies themselves need to stop making these racist titles. It's ignorant and insulting; who produces that "slant eye" series anyway? I recommend people boycott/blacklist any porn companies that persist in using racism to market their products. Not only will it improve pornography in the general public eye for taking a markedly non-racist stance, but it will help eradicate such inadvertent racism, in the case of anyone who isn't aware of the racist connotations or history behind the language. On another note, I am definitely going to have to watch that Asa Akira + London Keys vid. Immaculate pairing if I do say so myself.
