I commented disdainfully on a photo that appeared to show a new tattoo. Many people on these boards lament the proliferation of tattoos, so that's not a pet peeve shared only by me. If you think otherwise, go to the forum search function and look for threads containing the words "tattoos" and "hate." You'll find two pages worth of threads on that search alone. Now, I think even you'd agree that I couldn't see said photo prior to opening the thread. Which leads to the obvious - Why do you think I opened the thread in the first place? - Because I find the girl somewhat interesting. That being said, if I see a photo that bothers me, of course I'm going to comment. Otherwise, we may as well rename the site "BlackSixDVDTalkAndNobodyElseIsAllowedToComment.com"
^ Tobias, it's not the comment you made on the tattoo that's the main problem here. Although it's not ideal, as you pointed out, there are several similar comments. It's the rest of your comment, about how this girl being popular means there are few hot Asian porn girls these days. That's the part that steps over the line. Why? Well, for a couple of reasons. First, this comment goes beyond providing your opinion on not liking a tattoo, and goes straight to providing what seems like a 'factual' statement that this girl ain't shit. Second, not only are you claiming that she ain't shit, but that current Asian porn girls, as a group, ain't shit either. This whole issue would quickly become a non-issue if we could ever get a steady flow of Japanese performers working with American actors in uncensored content produced by American companies. I don't think anyone here would argue that girls like Maria Ozawa would generate a ton of demand and lead to big sales. Until then, more power to Asa. I, personally, cannot make girls famous or make them "stars" per se. After all, it is the girls themselves that must possess the raw talent (as well as looks) to become well known. Furthermore, it is the girls themselves that must conduct themselves in a mature and professional manner in order to maintain their notoriety once they have achieved a level of success in the industry. However, what I can do, because of the respect Spieglergirls has built up in the industry over many years, is get them in the right doors and (as you alluded to in your post) guide or steer them in the right direction. I can get them noticed by the right people at the right time in order to advance their careers as well as make sure they don't accept jobs that could be detrimental to their careers - i.e. working for Max Hardcore, Meatholes.com, etc. Lastly, if you ask many producers/directors about "Spieglergirls" I am sure that they will tell you that, generally speaking, our girls are "a cut above" the normal/average porn girls out there.

Mark is very selective with the talent he chooses to represent...I've spent many afternoons lounging around the Spiegler dorm, and I have seen him receive email after email from girls begging to be represented by him, and he rejects almost all of them. I've seen pictures of these chicks, too...most are pretty hot and some are even well known girls from other agencies...but he has a good sense about who's trouble and who's genuinely talented. The reason I'm asking about this, if anyone cares, is that I was just re-watching part of Tori Black is Pretty Filthy, where Mason has Tori doing interstitial interview segments, in which she is minimally made up, and looks so good that it makes you want to lick the TV. I liked Invasian 4 and I'm not usually a JJ fan. The opening scene with Lex Steele is the best and I was surprised at how good the Voodoo scene was as he can be uneven (I think it depends on the girl and director for him). Didn't really care for the blowbang, just not my thing at all. JJ is also not my favourite performer so that scene, despite a great set-up, didn't work for me, I've said it before but imo when JJ isn't shooting the scene his cameraman is not up to snuff. The last scene has some great tease because Asa looks amazing in those short-shorts but the dissolves and wipes are straight out of the late 80s 'video revolution.' I'm not sure why they're there. But that's all nit-picking really, any fan of Asa's is going to love this release. Best scene yet by Asa imo is in Bootylicious Girls with Manuel (what an ending with her fingering her ass while Manuel blows all over her, yowza!) and her dom scene with Wolf Hudson in Silvera's Asian Strap, although that scene is obviously not going to be to all tastes. She mentions in her interview that she worked as a dominatrix and it shows.
