I think the risk is a bit overstated. Alot has to do with the overall health of the person in question. I had an ex gf who was very healthy, active, and in great shape. She ate organic food mostly and was very health conscious. We were both kinky and into anal sex. She did ATM almost every time we had sex! Sometimes we did it up to 5 times! Just to give a quick view. E. coli ≠ Diseases. Some "bad" E. Coli = Diseases.

Well that's very different, fecal transplanation is done via an enema up the rectum, not by ingestion of fecal matter through the mouth :P The colon is very special, there are billions of bacteria the immune system is very different from the rest of the body, eg. if there's a tear in the colon wall with bleeding the body can handle it without any problems, if feces are put into an open sore on let's say a hand there's risk of sepsis. Most e-cola ingested dies, the stomach is a very inhospitable enivoronment for bacteria and other microorganism. But there's a reason why most probiotics are taken på pills with a protective coating to ensure that they'll survive until they reach the small intestine. E-coli doesn't neccesarily mean infection of the mouth, but they aren't of any good use either anywhere else than in the colon. It also depends on the intenstinal flora of the person who have donated the fecal matter for transplantation, if the other person have parasites and a bad gut flora it can actually mean harm rather than good for the recipient. lol, this is turning into some sort of medical discussion. But my bottom line is that I like ATM but A2P just feels stupid since it's much more risky.
