Personally, I think you should also add that in addition to not making negative comments about performers, you should also not criticize other members who whomever they say they'd lost interest in.

The list is too big. There's a bunch of pornstars I've watched in years past who I don't watch anymore, and it could be due to the fact that they've been retired, they haven't been active, lack of variety despite their stunning pretty looks that drawed me in at the first instant, they may have done something to their bodies or facial features (I get that it's their personal decision) that makes me lose interest in them, or so forth. It can be many factors. I'm sure many of us know who these stars are, but it's many of them throughout the years.

It's all well and good that you doubt x and y but doubt isn't relevant to the reality, of which there isn't one simple answer. You are also making a flawed assumption that we all became "soured". To lose interest and to become soured are not one and the same.

I hate drawing comparisons between porn and real life but I think it's fair in this case because you can grow apart in a platonic or romantic relationship and that relationship doesn't necessarily have to go sour as it ends. I don't think I'd go back to playing with action figures like I did when I was a wee lad but that doesn't mean I soured to them.

As I see it, the salient point is that tastes change with time but that doesn't necessarily mean you hate or sour to things you lose interest in. That is an obvious thing to me that I think you have missed.

The reason why I wrote what I did is that most of us want to see the new girl do all those things that we love and since we have a limited amount of time to watch porn then it stands to reason that we will look for that newbies videos instead of the stuff from an established star but we don't actually lose interest in the established star. That said some performer can alter their appearance or do some stuff in their private or professional life that sours them to us but those tend to be the exception rather than the rule.

P.S: While I appreciate your sentiment in regards to Ashley and Michelle. Somehow I think that if we were to ask your past self the same thing in regard to your feelings toward Aidra 4 years ago. Then your answer might have been the same as it is for Ashley and Michelle. The one thing I have learned over the years is that the porn you first like is usually the porn you will always like and it's the same thing with performers. You may gravitate toward the newer one but deleting any of your past favorite's work is just going to lead to regret in later years.

Regardless of being active or retired - I had hard crushes on all three at some point but then found them more or less gone from my substantial collection.

I know we're not supposed to judge our favorite actresses/actors because of the choices they make, but more often than not those same choices are why I tend to stop watching or supporting them.

Also, keep in mind that every fan has their own preferences even though many would swear that everyone else feels the same way. When a girl makes certain choices she may loose some fans but she will in many cases will get new fans because of the choice. Pretty much all of us has seen girls who've been in the industry we didn't know or care about until the made a change that we liked and put them on our radar.

For me it's not that I lose interest in a performer so much as I tend to follow the new one in lieu of them but whatever porn my past favorite (the list is quite long) has done and that I bought still remains on my various drives. and that's why I have nearly 4 TB of porn. While I may not watch those past scenes all that often. I still do watch them and more importantly would hate myself if I deleted them because I have thrown out many old VHS movies over the years that I now really regret doing because those movies can no longer be found.

I think that some of the posters who prefer to delete the videos of their past favorite to make space on their drive for the more recent ones are less porn collectors and more porn enjoyers. I see nothing wrong with that but I suspect that many of them will regret it in the long run as they will miss those past scenes the same way that I miss my past VHS movies.
