Since I don't even care considering how badly they sorta mucked up this field, I say make some history on your 25th Anniversary and give it to Jenna Haze. I can't say she's completely undeserving and it'd make her the first lady to win Best New Starlet and then go on to capture Female Performer of the Year.

Of course I'd love for Hillary to be the first to win back to back-- that I know of but I'm not sure if she had enough scenes this year that were seen by enough people so I might say go with either Brianna or Jenna with a sexy darkhorse pick being Rebeca Linares.

I long ago gave up any hope that I would be satisfied with AVN nominations. The girls I like hardly ever win. I'm usually most disappointed in Performer of the Year. Gianna definitely should have been nominated. Some girls get nominated just because of their names. How many films were actually released in 07 with Savanna Samson in them? What a joke.

Rebeca Linares she has ben one of the hardest working women in this biz for a while now and if you were at last years
AEE/AVN to see her at the ana/dia booth with a smile on her face even though her feet and legs were in so much pain and she did not even gripe once she deserves it .

When Annette Schwarz was not even nominated last year I thought it was a glaring and ridiculous ommission.
I had the privilege of meeting her at the AAE Fan Day in Vegas, and she couldn't have been more polite. I would love for Annette to win this year.

Shyla should be on here but I could understand why she's not because she was an even better performer at 19 than at 24. Nikki Benz has improved greatly over the past few years, Eva Angelina, the biggest rising star in the business should be on here as well as Rachel Starr who is coming into her own as a great performer with improved blowjob skills. Jenna Haze would be my pick but 2006 was really the year that Jenna owned. Amy Ried has gotten a lot better as well so I wouldn't be upset if she won. Annette Schwartz I've only seen in Evilution 2 from 2006 and she is an amazing deep throater so she would be deserving as well.

Eva Angelina's way past being a "rising" star, playboy. Established veteran at this point, I think, is more like it.
Female Performer of the Year nomination for Rachel Starr? That's a bit premature, I'd say, and I'm likely Ms. Starr's most vocal supporter. A Best New Starlet nomination is more realistic and even then, that'll be next year.
It sounds like most people here don't know what the cut off and time period for consideration for these awards is.

Hey, Eva Angelina has been my favorite porn star for a while now, and even I can easily understand why she's not on this list. She just didn't have that many releases in 2007. Sure, the scenes she did put out were world-class, in my opinion. But you gotta have quantity along with the quality for this particular award.
For that very same reason, I'm completely disgusted that Bree Olson was not nominated for FPOTY. She's everywhere these days, and I can't see myself getting tired of her anytime soon.

From the list of nominees, I'm still torn between Sasha Grey and Brianna Love. Although this was really Brianna's year, part of me would be truly tickled if Sasha got the recognition. Her numbers may not compare with the other girls, but Sasha made the hardest, loudest, and most indelible impact on the industry when she arrived.
As much as I'm lovin' Brianna Love these days, I say give it to Sasha.

I'd love to see Jenna or Brianna get it. They have both been tearing it up this last year. I have to say Brianna has been busting her ass real hard so she deserves it. Jenna has also been doing her thing so I would want to see her get it as well. I have to say that Amy Ried is a suprise to see. But after her little hiatus she has come back very strong. I think she fits well in this category this year.

I just know Stormy Daniels or someone like that will win (I don't think feature girls should be in the same catagory as gonzo girls cuz Gonzo girls work their hot little asses off!!) Anyhoo...
I LOVE ANNETTE SCHWARTZ and you will never find a performer more willing and able and one who would never EVER complain or play the diva, she's just perfect and gets my vote!!
